I am stuck at 28" on my thighs. I squat, leg press all very heavy and I can't seem to get them to grow again. I squated 510 for 2 clean parallel reps 2 weeks ago, so I am stong but can't get anymore size.

Try this:

3 sets of squats from 25-5 reps.
3 sets of leg press - keep reps at 30 for each set

Super-set: Leg extensions and leg curls for 3 sets of 15 reps each.

Finish off with 3 sets of lunges on a step from aerobics class with 4 risers under each set. Burn out with the 50lb Db.

NICE size, bro....you have some tree trunks for quads....

you're freakin' strong...2 reps, eh? have you tried increasing reps? like in the 15-20 rep range? 405 for 15 is quite a chore...it's a different world

This is my leg day:
6 sets squats 20,15,10,8,6,6
4 sets leg press 12,10,8,8
4 sets leg extention 10,10,10,10
5 sets stiff legged deads 15,15,15,15,10
5 sets lying leg curl 15,12,12,12,15

I do deadlifts on back day but that as well works all the leg muscles quite well.

Nice leg workout Beezers and just to add to that, try 135lb walking lunges across the gym and back for three sets. At my gym we have to walk down the stairs to exit, that becomes a chore after a leg workout.

What worked for me was periodizing my training. I think that is key. Favorite workout though is German Volume training squats and leg curls for 10 sets 0f 10 for three weeks followed by ten sets of 6 for three. Check out Testosterone.net Look up Ian Kings 12 week program entitled Limping into Novemeber-It is very fancy, but you don't get bored and it worked for my bros and myself

I like the 25x3x2/wk and 100x1x1/wk workout method. Damn, does it cause pain!
