If your name is "Peter Allen Smith" and you have your source ship to a po box under the name "Mr. Smith" or "P.A. Smith" will they usually put it in your box?

yes, they will. I recently got a free sample of protein from stew, and he just put j.j. as the name, because that is what it says on my email. Well, those aren't my initials and they still delivered.

Ok to add to this question... if someones name was Chris Thomas and the package went to Chris T. or C. Thomas could you still deny it being to you or is that too obvious, ya know, if it got busted.

MOST OF THE TIME THE MAILMEN ARE JUST IN A HURRY TO GET DONE, SO THEY JUST DROP ANYTHING IN YOUR BOX.

I'm not sure, but I don't think the feds are that stupid. If they want to bust you, using your initials or a fake name probably isn't going to stop them. I would love to hear of a case where someone got busted and then said, but my name is spelled Jon not John and actually got off. There is a risk involved no matter what name you use, and frankly, since using a fake name is a form of mail fraud (which is a felony), I would think using a fake name would only make things worse for yourself.

I agree 100% with what latona said. Using a fake name isn't going to confuse the feds at all. If they want you they'll get you plain and simple. Why make it harder on yourself wondering if the package is going to be dropped off and the possibility of mail fraud added to charges...
