havent posted or looked over the boards in awhile due to a hectic work/school schedule! Currently, im averaging 4-5hrs sleep a night. my training split works well and i train with intensity...im eating clean and eating a gram of protein per lb of bodyweight......... im growing.........finished 10wks of aratest, eq, dbol and proviron, which put 30lbs on me....bout 22lbs of muscle as i got a bit fat......heh...heh. it had been over 5months since i had used gear as i had been training naturally due to a shoulder injury! its been three weeks since ive used testo or dbol and ive continued running eq @ 400mg/eq a week for 4wks. ive used maxzide/lasix and am down to a semi-solid 212lbs @5'7......strength has not increased yet it has not decreased either! feb-march.........ill continue the eq along with tren, proprionate and winny......taking the winny orally ed and the tren ed as well......eca and t-3 will be used appropriately guess i got off my subject.........lol! i just gave a rundown on my cycle. anyway........my body seems to be growing fine on little sleep which makes me question the importance of 8-10hrs of sleep which many believe is neccessary for growth. while sleeping, you are not taking in nutrients--in contrast, with me being awake and active for 18-20hrs/day.......im able to eat every 2-3 hours and drink plenty of fluids..... ok.........sorry for the rant! its been awhile since ive posted anyting and i got carried away...... this is my .02 for the day............lol in solidarity Unity66

Everyone's different I guess. When I sleep 8-10 hours a day, I feel less sore in the morning, than if I hadn't slept that long.

My body requires 9 hours of sleep. I can deal with only getting 8 for several days in a row, but I start to feel VERY tired. As in, falling asleep while driving to work. If I get less than 8, I'm feeling pretty fuckin' happy the next day (where happy=miserable). In this case, I am doing whatever it takes to find time for a nap, and must get about 10 hours the next night to make up for it. If I go three days in a row of 5-6 hours per night, I'm willing to barter my soul to Be'alzebub for a night of unlimited sleep. ------------------

Another thing- you're gaining off of such little sleep because you're JUICING. Steroids increase your recovery ability.

i realize that my recovery time is increased due to my use of AS........ my point was that i am able to eat more frequently, hence i am able to intake more macronutrients! when sleeping, you are putting yourself in a 'catabolic' phase as you spend 8-10hrs without any type of food...hence the protein intake first thing in the morning. anymore opinions as to my .02 thought... Sleeping and eating is sometimes a trade off. You either sleep alot and get lots of rest which is importent for recovery or you eat more and have less time to recover , but have more nutrients when recovering. I think is you are on a serious cycle you You need to find a happy medium. It is very difficult to train well when you are working and going to school , you just have to do

hmm. if it works for you it's cool.. I wish I could do with 5 hours of sleep.. I need at least 8 hours of sleep every night.. I get an ugly headache if I dont get my 8 hours for 3-4 days in a row.

sleep 6-7 but usually get a nap for an hour to hour and half before working out in evening. Don't underestimate the benefits of an hour nap! Many hormones released and recovery done.
