guys-- A while back, I purchased some pre-made fina from a good guy, and it was working great..unfortunately, due to a sudden family development, I cut the cycle short...so the fina has been sitting around for a couple months..I've noticed that it seems to have a few strands of some kind of substance floating around..and I was wondering if it would still be safe to inject it..I certainly don't want to take any uneccessary health risks..any advice is much appreciated, huck and Mr. H particularly so..thanks alot.     | ||

Personaly I wouldn't trust anything pre-made by someone else. I prefer to make my own so I KNOW it's safe. I've got injectable Fina a year old that's still good and it's still the same clear golden color as when it was made. It's probably still good but what I would do just to be safe is run it through a syringe filter into a new sterile vial. | ||

I'm only guessing but that sounds like some of the binders that weren't removed in the process of making it. At the very least, jam a needle in the stopper, and sterilize it by baking it in the oven for at least 20-30 mins at 250. | ||
