someone just told me that increased milk consumption increases the buildup of lactic acid in your muscles when working out, thus causing a more painful burn and longer muscle soreness over the following days. Is this true? or is this guy talking out his ass? ------------------

Well as far as the lactic acid is concerned i'm not to sure..but alot of potassium (bannan's) help's lower latic acid..and i know u probably don't want to ..but a lot of stretching will also take care of that. YOu should drink milk like it's water though (if your looking to bulk up and put on mass)..MIlk help's the bone's and muscles grow..it has alot of great nutrients in it to help with recovery so don't stop drinking it cause of lactic acid...

yo KrazyK, it sounds like your freind is getting confused by the terms lactic and lactose. There is no relation between the amount of milk you drink and the amount of lactic acid build up in the muscles. So to answer your question, yes he is talking out his asssss! ------------------
