I've heard the theory that the MPB gene comes from your mother's side of the family, but do we really know this to be true? I mean is the MPB gene always recessive when coming from your father or what? For example, my father, his brother, and their father all have MPB. The men on my mother's side of the family all have a full head of hair. I am 25 with ALOT of hair so does this mean that I am not "predisposed" to MPB?? I have done cycles including winny, dbol, test and eq without causing my hairline to move. I naturally lose alot of hair each day (i guess because it's so thick) but my hairline hasn't noticeably moved. I'm just wondering if any of you guys can shed a little light on this "predispostion" of MPB for me.

Thanks,

Beefytits

I don't think you're in the clear yet, but you probably won't loose it. My father's side is bald and my mother's side has a full head of hair. I have a "mature" hairline. I'm not loosing any in the back and it is receding slighly on either side in the front. Obviously the more cycles you do, you'll find out if you're going to loose it or not.

Your definetly not in the clear. I've been juice free for years and my hairline flew back within about a 2 year period when I was in my early 30's. Juice free mind you. It has since slowed but who knows what would happen if I started the juice again. I'm looking into it again but I'm going full bore on the hair stuff

My hair was fine until I hit age 27, then BAM! Now it is kind of thin on top and sort of receeding on one side. All this was before I touched a drop of juice. On the other hand I did not notice a change while on juice.

No one is bald in my family but all the guys on my mom's side have thin hair, and a high hairline.

I don't belive the mom's father bit. My cousin is BALD and his mother's father had thick hair, but his dad was bald.

The general rule is that baldness is hereditary based on your mother's father. If he's bald, more than likely you will be too.

what do you guys think is the worst AS as far as hair loss goes? i know alot depends on the individual and definitely on the dosages. a buddy of mine really lost alot of his hair on winny. i really didn't lose any from winny but only did 50mg EOD. i'm about to go with 50mg ED along with some Fina and Primo. i guess i'll really find out if i'm "predisposed" after that cycle, huh?

thanks for all of the help.

primo is probably the safest drug when it comes to hairloss. Test and anadrol are the bad boys. I have not had any loss with test, but I also take proscar everyday, I have not done anadrol yet, so I don't know what that will do.

juice will only excellerate the mpb, the gene is passed from your mothers father. we all loose hair everday aprox 100 a day, however,
the bald ones are heads that the hair doesnt come out of it's rest cycle. at the age of 20 you have a 20% chance @ 30 a 30% etc.

i would always take precausion when doing a
course to use nizoral and minoxidil/spirolatone. but that's me
shit having a hard musclular body is one thing but a chrome dome gezzzzzz no way!!!

The gene can come from your mother's or your father's side. This information comes from Dr. Proctor who is a hairloss expert. So don't think that you are out of the clear if it's only your dad's side. Just be careful and watch your hairline.

Genes are not that simple as you guys see it.Your parents may have full heads of hair and your grandparents on both sides the same, but you still can be predisposed to MPB.If you're you should notice it,you will see that you loosing hair faster then grow new one, that'all, very simple.

Both sides of my family mothers and fathers side are bald or balding. So I have no hope in hell of keeping my hair. I did my first cycle at age 19(with a full head of hair), I'm now 25 and use the good old Gillete Mach III at least twice a week, because there is just no point in trying to grow my hair up there. And besides the women love it!!! I forgot to mention I went from 130lbs to 222lbs in weight. I'm now about 200lbs. So it has it has it's pros and cons.

One other thing I always wondered about. We are all programmed by genetics to either lose some hair, no hair, or all our hair. I too belive juice excellerates this process but if you were programmed to loose, say, a little on the hairline and no more for the rest of your life, would the juice have no affect on the remaing hair after this has taken place or would it continue to fall out? Just a thought.

Back in college, I was curious about this as well since my father was losing his hair yet my mothers father still had a full head of hair. I asked my genetics professor and he replied that it is a myth that you will take after your mothers side. It is not an X linked trait and he said that whichever parent you most closely resemble will determine your disposition to MPB. Lucky for me, I look very much like my mothers side....

This is true. I'm pretty sure that I'm prone to mpb also unless my hairline had just "matured". My mom's dad had his hair and my dad's dad is bald as a q-ball, but my dad has only the normal amount of loss for his age. Lucky me, the gene seems to have skipped over him and landed on me. I swear as a kid my parents used to joke with me that I would go bald because it skips a generation; how ironic is that?
