I was flat out in bed for ten days-- couldn't wait to get back to gym-- lost 10 pounds and strength has gone WAY down..

I'm worried most about the strength, it's what Ive worked so hard to improve and I was really getting stronger. And now this setback

Has this happened to anyone else/
All tips on how to get strength back will be greatly appreciated.

Im sure others will benefit from this post as we are in the height of flu season.

damn I think everyone is just about getting the flu, or something similiar. My roommate had it, gave it to me, luckly I only felt real bad for a day. 3 days later I'm still a little tired and cant eat much food. Just try to work out of it, drink lots of water, take your vitamins, eat as much as you can without making yourself sick.

Just get back on schedule with your meals and keep drinking water.

This happened to me recently at the end of a heavy cycle, knocked me down for two week's, strength went right down, took me three whole week to get back in to it properly, the strength came back better than before though, all within 4 weeks, eat well, sleep well, and do as little as possible apart from training. Good luck.

I have been there. Two to three weeks and you'll never know the difference. Hard to hear, I know, but the time will fly by.
