Does anyone know if there is medical evidence that says by supplementing insulin by a non-diabetic, it will cause the pancrease to shut down production of the bodies natural insulin?

I dont believe there is a negative feedback loop to accomplish this.

Development of type ii diabetis can still occur however i associate that more with weight than insulin use. A lot of people who are type II's become normal again when they loose weight.

Thanks for the info, have you ever supplemented with insulin? Do the benefits weigh enough to validate even supplementing with it?

THE HUMAN BODY NO MATTER IF IT IS THE HORMONAL AXIS, THE THYROID ETC... HAS A NEGATIVE FEED-BACK LOOP MECHANISIM. MENAING IF A NON DIABETIC USES INSULIN, THE PANCREASIS WILL SHOT DOWN OR SLIGHTLY SLOW PRODUCTION. THE BODY DOES THIS TO KEEP HOMEOSTATIS. IF YOU STAY ON SLIN TOO LONG W HIGH DOSAGES COUNT ON HAVING A SCREWED UP INSULIN RELEASE OR ONE THAT ISN'T FUNCTIONABLE.

i think he was talking long term.

With insulin use, you are only at risk for developing type ii.

Andy13: I tend to agree with you.

But in my situation it maybe a little different. My little bro is a type I diabetic (insulin dependant).

My grampa was as well. That means I am prone to it.

I have used insulin before but I don't think it's worth the risk given my sittuation

As far as i know, you dont just 'develope' type i. You ether have it or not. Type ii, yes. If you dont have a problem now you are most likely in the clear.

I am not in the clear if you are genetically prone to diabetis mellitus you are supposed to do glucose tolerance test every 3-4 years to make sure everything is cool.

My pancreas function is perfect right now but in 5 years it may be different. You are right that it usually happens in your teenage years . So I maybe cleared.

I am a type II diabetic. I do not need insulin, my body produces enough, but the body cannot utilize the insulin to convert sugar into energy.

Once you have diabetes, you have it for life. there has NOT been one person that has been "cured" from this disease.

Long term use of insulin by a healthy individual will cause the pancreas to stop producing insulin, thereby inducing type 1.

Trust me, type 1 is deadly and you do not want any part of it.

Be careful with your insulin.

I'm a diabetic, and have been for years....runs in my family big time. My endo knows I use " High Performance " supplements, therefore his name for me... " The Experiment "!!!

Lemme ask you this....If you run test what happens, nuts shrink, test levels drop, long term....Damage!!!

If you use Insulin, your body will lower it's own production, will it rebound....??? That's the chance you take with the usage, really not worth it to me, others have had great luck with it....

Medical studies....I doubt it, but ask a good endrocrinologist about it Bro....seriously....

I am not a diabetic but my little bro is a type I.

I know a lot about both diabetis and insulin.

I have used it for two cycles and found it to be overated. Dbol gives you just as good pumps so for me it's not worth the risk in the long term.

The sides in short term are easy to deal with if you are smart but the long term effects are very scary.
