yep. i like strip sets too. another thing is lighten up and do slow negs and pos. slow talking 4 down 4 up. that gets a good ass pump and some serious pain. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Max - Check out AnabolicExtreme.com. Jason Mueller describes workouts involving pre-exhaustion and rest-pause. I've just started seriously using these principles, and they really kick your fanny ! They are described in "Back Issues"....... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Check out Beyond Failure Training at www.nuclearnutrition.com. You'll want to die after one set. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Im working with some pre-exhaustion stuff that kicks my ass. Then strip sets after a month of pre-ex stuff seems to do good. E ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

yeah I do a superset, triset combo to exhaustion with about 20-25 sets for each muscle, but reps of 15 to 20, so if you do a triset that is 45-60 reps for one set, if you would like some pointers email at [email protected] ![]() ![]() ![]()

I've been trying descending pyramids, Lee Labrada style. You start with the heaviest, lowest rep set, and every set drop the weight and increase reps. You don't really need to fully recover between each set, since you are dropping the weight each time. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

What I always get a good pump from and have added some size from during my chest workouts are pushups. I do them as part of a superset of sorts with the pec-dec flys. Right after a set on the fly machine, I rep out as many pushups as I can with strict form. After that, I will put my knees on the floor and rep out as many of these "cheat pushups" as I can. Do three cycles of that and your chest will feel great. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
