ok, here is the reason. i know because i looked it up. HGH is extracted from the brain of human corpses. It hasnt been manufactured and you cant use GH from a pig or cow. ITs VERY species specific. Those are considered "lower" life forms and it wont work in humans like say, bovine test. True shit. Whats cool aboutit is that when you take it, its only detectable for a VERY short time. Yet the affects continue on for quiet some time. Too much can really screw you up because its not jsut anabolic, it makes EVERYTHING grow. Icluding your heart. And enlarged heart can kill you just the same as a clogged artery. I will never try it. | ||

I don't wanna flame you too hard but you are very misinformed... the hgh we buy is not extracted it is synthetic the same as your test is synthetic it isn't extracted from nuts anymore... Hgh is expensive cause people with lots of money use it and it has a good rep... cause it helps our lawmakers live longer... horseshit but god bless america. I think it is a waste of money less you get it cheap or if you are over 30... | ||

It is no longer extracted from cadavers because it was causing death due to contamination with prions. It is currently synthesized in a similar process as insulin using recombinant DNA technology and the E. coli bacterium. It is expensive because it cannot be produced in underground labs, plus there is HMO and insurance politics involved that make the price outrageous. | ||

The"youth clinics" have been charging rich and famous people astronomical amounts of money for years for GH. They laud it as the fountain of youth and it is big business.Good mention by bchemist, the hmos and pharma ceutical companys know what they have and the price reflects it. The use of GH in bodybuilding pales in comparison to its legit use by "old" people looking for the magic potion to be young again. | ||

it can sometimes cost billions of dollars to discover, manufacture, test and research a new drug. it usually takes 5-10 years this process. the drug is tested in lab tubes, then with different animals, then with volunteers. then they collect information about drugs sides etc. it's a VERY long and expensive process. well, the reason that GH is so expensive, is that the demand isn't the highest possible. you must be a doctor specialized in children's endochrinology to even prescripe the motherfucker. at least here in finland. and when the demand of drug is low, you have to cover the manufacture costs with a higher price. remember, every drug used in sports has been developed for some other reason. ------------------ | ||

P.S. it is stil being extracted from the brain of human corpses in eastern europe, and i'm not sure if the chinese gh is human or rGH. so be carfull about it's source. | ||

That's right. From what I understand, it used to be extracted from the human brain (pituratry) years ago until it was made synthetically. This not only lowered the cost but prevented the transfer of diseases like BSE. | ||
