A steroid is not made up of amino acids.
It is not a protein. It is a hormone. All hormones are composed of mostly fatty acids and tRNA which contains information in the form of a code to the receptor sites. Different hormones contain different codes that instruct the receptor sites to signal the brain to perform varying actions. The shape of the hormone itself (arangement of carboxyl group and carbon atoms) will cause it to have an affinity to specific binding sites (receptors).
They are fat soluable. Not water soluable as protein. I don't see any enzymatic envolvement that may break it down in the stomach. Only in the liver where there are specific enzymes that bind with toxins.
Being fat soluable it may be possible for the steroid to disolve in fats consumed in a meal and therefore possibly pass into the large intestine escaping maximum absorbtion in the small intestine.

What do you think?

Being "into" science, I feel that absorbtion into the bloodstream may be slightly boosted by a small amount of food, preferably carbs.

This small amount of food would cause an increase of blood flow to the stomach lining, therefore increasing the chances that every little nanogram of the pill gets absorbed.

Most creatine is packaged with a small amount of carbs so absorbtion will be increased. If creatine is taken alone, some manufacturers suggest drinking a small amount of grape juice to "increase uptake".

Just my two cents.

Creatine is taken with sugar to utalize insulin transportation. I've never heard blood flow increases to stomach linning.

I thought the components that made up TRNA and MRNA as well as RNA and DNA were amino acids?

stew...I think you are correct in your analysis. Uptake might be slightly improved on an empty stomach. Keep in mind, the only reason that some meds are supposed to be taken with a meal, is simply to reduce possible stomach irritation. So if that isn't a problem with someone taking DBOL, I say take it on an empty stomach with a glass of water. Might even try letting it dissolve a little in your mouth.
