Is this for bulking or cutting??? It doesn't look to promising. You need carbs in there...And lots of them as you are virually void of them. I would say you are emphasizing the protein way too much. Your post workout meal doesn't even include any carbs. You should be slamming around 100g at this time alone. If youn are bulking I would load up the carbs. I would also incorporate some falx oil in there(mix it in a shake or two) so you are getting your efa's a a good amount of omega three's. Way too much emphasis on the protein though. If you are bulking you will need the carbs. The more carbs you eat the more efficient your protein is at doing its main job-building muscle. I would re-work this whole diet as I think it sucks...just my opinion though. Don't mean to sound harsh.

Yeh I just saw your cycle. This diet is terrible bro...just the honest truth. CARBS. They are NOT the enemy. You will need them. Do you have any idea of how many calories you will be eating or need to be eating. Please ask questions. This diet doesn't look promising according to your cycle.

If you're bulking, pasta, steak, oatmeal, steak, hamburger, steak... looks more like a maintenance diet there friend.

THANKS FOR ALL THE SUGGESTIONS, THAT IS WHAT I WAS LOOKIN FOR. I WILL CHANGE IT AND EAT MORE PASTA AND STEAK AND ALL AROUND MORE CARBS. THE N-LARGE 2 HAS 98 GRAMS OF CARBS PER SERVING AS WELL.

Carbs to eat:
Brown rice
Barley
Beans
Oats
Whole wheat pasta
Whole grain breads
Shredded wheat
Bananas
Apples
Pineaple
Pears
Brockily
Zuchini
Green beans
Peas
Corn
Yams
Potaotos
Carb drinks(post workout)
Plain Rice cakes

I'm sure you know what constitues junk food. You should get 3 grams of carbs/lb of body weight. Without the carbs for energy the protein will never make its way to the muscle to build them as it will be converted to glucose and burned as energy to meet energy requirements(which are very, very high while on AS and working out intensely). That is why you need the carbs. They fuel the muscles for strenuous work and they spare the amino acids to build and repair muscle tissue. Glycogen is what makes the muscles full (big). Without carbs your muscle glycogen levels will be quite low making them flat. You will need these calories if you have any intention of growing...which I'm sure you do. What are your stats? Again, I would foccus on more carbs and whole foods...lay off the shakes a bit. Post some stats and we can progress this discusion further. Diet is THE most important factor in a successfull cycle...or superior physique for that matter.

Here is what I would suggest. This is according to 171 pounds with the intent to gain mass.

4000 calories
540g carbs
260g protein
80g fat

It seems like you're willing to set up and stick to a diet. I don;t know how good you are with crunching the numbers and putting the peices of the puzzle called a balenced diet together but now is a good time to learn as this is your first cycle. Learn to count calories and nutrients. Get a calorie/nutrient counter book, and read labels. The important thing is to make those 4000 calories quality calories. Living off protein shakes isn't the answer. Nor is neglecting carbs. Balance is crucial when one is aiming to grow.

I WENT AND LOOKED ON ALL THE LABELS AND NUTRITION SITES TO GET A GUESS AT WHAT MY TOTALS WOULD LOOK LIKE AND I CAME UP WITH
CALS***FAT***PROTEIN***CARBS**
5207***70.9***408.8****360.3**
THAT IS A ROUGH GUESS OF THE TOTAL NUMBERS IN MY DIET. I KNOW THE CARBS ARE LOW SO I AM GOING TO THROW IN SOME PASTA AT LUNCH TIME AND I AM GOING TO HAVE A BANANA AFTER WORKOUT AND APPLE THE FIRST MEAL OF THE DAY. ANY CRITIQUE ON THIS. THANKS FOR ALL THE SUGGESTIONS

Yeh, that's way too much protein. I would have much more than just a banana post workout. A banana only has 28g of carbs. You should get at leat 100g at this time. It also isn't the most efficient glycogen regenerator. Breads, pasta, sugar, are good post workout as the effectively restore glycogen in the muscles thus begining the healing proccess. Carb drinks are great in this situation. I have 40oz of gatorade following my workout. Simple carbs are what you want. Though a banana is basicaly sugar it is fructose. Takes a good bit for the body to proccess this into glucose. It is also high in fiber further slowing digestion. I still can't figure out where all those carbs are coming from in you meal plan listed.

I AM GOING TO HAVE 2 BAGALS A DAY 1 AT 7:30AM AND 1 AT 1:00PM, EACH BAGAL HAS 55 GRAMS OF CARBS. THE OTHER CARBS COME FROM THE CUP OF YOGURT 34 CARBS, MYOPLEX 24 CARBS AND LABRADA PRO V-60 12 CARBS EACH SERVING. I WILL ADD MORE PASTA AND SIMPLE CARBS TO MY MEAL PLAN. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP
