I was going to start to supplement this in and when I went to the store they had the bottles in the fridge but they also had room temp stored pills (1g. each). Should I stick with the stuff in the fridge, or does it really matter? Thanks, Green ------------------ I GET MAD!!!!

It doesn't really matter, but I like the cold stuff.

Dose usually implies that there is the possibility of OVERdose, but that's not the case, because flax oil is a food as much as a supplement. One or two tablespoons per day is probably enough, depending on how much fat and calories you take in daily. Of course, if you were to take this in using only capsules, which tend to be 500mgs, then you would need 28 per day for 1 tablespoon, and 56 for two, which is why the actual liquid oil is better to buy. Also, it's better if the capsules are in a fridge, despite what the clerk/owner of the store tells you - the caps at the place I work at are ALWAYS in a fridge, and the stock of oil itself [i.e. the liquid] is usaully in a freezer, which is the best way to prolongue its shelf life and keep it fresh.

The stuff does go bad which is why it's kept in the fridge and usually has an experation date marked on the bottle. Also with the caps you would have to swallow quite a few. It's much easier to just put a couple of tablespoons in your MRP shake. Can't even taste it.

Cool thanks. Sounds like the pills are a waste of time. Later, Green ------------------ I GET MAD!!!! |
