What are some foods I can eat while dieting? I know chicken, veggies and what not but what are some good ideas. I hate eating the same crap over and over again. Also I hate drinking protein shakes but can drink a gallon of skim milk a day with ease. How much milk can I drink a day for protein without over doing it??? Thanks, Green

Actually, while dieting don't drink much milk. Lactose is a sure way to sabotage your cutting. If you can get a deal on whitefish or flounder, they work really well as a protein source. Also, keep a little red meat in there. Try oatmeal with protein powder and sweet potatoes as carb sources.

HEY GREEN. I HATE CUTING! I HAVE BEEN DOING IT FOR LIKE 3 MONTHS AND I AM GETING READY TO START MY FIRST CYCLE THIS MONDAY. THE FOODS I EAT ARE CHICKEN, TUNA, EGG WHITES, WHOLE MILK, LOTS OF PROTEIN SHAKES, NATURAL PEANUT BUTTER, LEAN RED MEAT,BROWN RICE,STIR FRIED VEGGIES, AND BASICALLY ANYTHING WITH HIGH PROTEIN AND LOW CARBS, I DON'T WATCH FAT INTAKE THAT MUCH BUT I TRY TO KEEP IT LOW. THE CARBS I DO EAT ARE ALWAYS IN THE MORNING AND I HAVE A WHOLE WHEAT BAGAL WITH A MYOPLEX DRINK RIGHT AFTER MY WORKOUT. YOU HAVE A SOLID FRAME AND YOU ARE GOING TO LOOK AWSOME ONCE YOUR CUTING CYCLE IS OVER. GOOD LUCK AND IF YOU NEED ANY MORE HELP YOU CAN MAIL ME ANYTIME.

Green, cutting isn't very fun so you will have to make some sacrifices. I would obviously recommend a high protein, low carb, low-moderate fat intake. For protein sources, stick to chicken, turkey, any type of fish, tuna, lean red meat, egg whites, no carb protein shakes, and soy (tofu). I would recommned taking in your majority of your carbs early in the day, making you two largest carb intakes on breakfast and on your post lifting meal. For the other meals, stick to lots of vegetables such as spinach, califlower, cabbage, celery, red/green peppers, brocolli, tomatoes, lettuce, and maybe red kidney beans. These vegetables are full of important bodybuilding vitamins and minerals and fiber so you don't become constipated as a result of the lower carb intake. I would slowly decrease your dairy intake and then keep it to a minimum. The lactose will make you smooth and is also a type of sugar which is a carb. A whole gallon of milk is a lot of sugar/carbs. For carbs, stick to low-glycemic ones such as oatmeal, red skinned potatoes, sweet potatoes, and brown rice. Drink lots of water. When cutting, you will undoubtably have cravings for sugar/sweets. To combat this, try making sugar free jello, it is virtually calorie free for the whole entire box. You should be getting an adequate supply of fats from your protein sources but if not maybe try adding some all natural peanut butter, flaxseed oil, or any type of nuts. I remember you pics and you have a solid/big foundation so once you cut a little you'll look great. If i missed anything, bros please add and/or critique. Good luck bro.

I used to get sick at the thought of eating
bland chicken, rice, tuna...then I got
a wok, yes a wok, and started adding all kinds of spices and weird ass chinese sauces (most of which were low cal) Basically, I
eat the same shit everyone else does, but I
attempt to make it taste a little more flavorful.

I would also recommend avoiding protein powder, other than in your post-workout shake for the simple reason that it will not fill you up. When cutting, you will be hungry, and personally, I find that the last thing I need is to have a big chunk of my protein intake coming from something that fills me up for an hour or less, or not at all.
Plus, you might even save money.

xenadryn or hydroxycut is a good appetite depressant, and would work well with your cutting cycle if used properly.
