There is a product I use on my head called High Time 'Bump Stop-2' (Double Strength) made by High Time Products, Long Beach, CA 90813. Really good stuff. Active Ingrediants are Resorcin 6%, Bromelain 2% and Vitamin A. Look for it in the 'African-American' section of a pharmacy.

This may sound wierd, but make sure you use women's shaving cream, not me, they are so much better. Get Skinmate or something like that, it is awesome.

Montecristo, I just got a box of No.2's, great stuff.

I found something that works for me ALL the time. I have very sensitive skin. EVen when using a Mach3 and gel, I still got razor bumps that look like little zip on my chest and arms. To solve this, I apply 100% pure aloe vera[spelling] immediately after shaving..and twice a day for about three days. Works every time like a charm. I was really impressed...give it a try. Rememeber to buy the aloe without ANY perfumes, colors, etc...just the clear, pure 100% aloe. Good Luck.

Mach-3 razor, with some womens shaving cream. Damn i cant remember the exact name, but i get the kind that says "bikini & underarm" on the label. Works like a charm all over. But the only thing that breaks out a little on me is the inside of my legs. But after i have shaved once, it doesnt come back at all.

When I shave my head, I rub a lemon wedge on it afterwards. Hurts like a bitch, but the acid seems to help.

Hands down: Aramis Lab Series "Maximum Comfort Shave Cream" and "Razor Burn Relief."

Not cheap. You can get it at the male cosmetic counter at most upscale department stores.

Applies to all parts of the body.

Have used it for years.

Soak in Hot water before you shave. It opens up the pores. I just shave in the shower with the hot water all the way on, I have a flexable nozzle so i Turn it to the side, so i don't burn myself. Then I use Aloe 2-3 times a day, try not to scratch the area where you shaved and wear lose clothing for the first couple days after you shave. Clothing that rubs up against the area you shaved with irritate the skin and cause you to get razor burn. I use either a mach 3 or an electric razor. That's my tips, works for me and i'm one hairy guy.

Gillette now makes a shaving gel, it is better than Edge IMO.
