i have used AS before with no problems. recently i was using winny at about 150-200mg a week and my side started to ache constantly so i stopped the winny and it went away. tried another does of it and it came back. anybody ever experiance this before with there liver     | ||

Go have a blood profile done ASAP.I would be willing to bet your liver values are exceptionally high,in which case you need to lay off any 17AA usage until they normalize... | ||

Your liver has no nerves in it. It wouldnt hurt you at all if there was something wrong with it. | ||

Do just like Huck has told you and go get some blood work done. Make sure you tell your doc that you want your liver enzymes checked also. One thing you can do to prevent the levels from escalating higher, is try some preventative measures like Milk Thistle, Evening Primrose Oil, Liverite, Liv-52, etc. There are a lot of liver protectors out that you can get over the counter. Try this site too: www.web-rx.com They have a endless list of anything reguarding vitamins, etc. And i will tell you that i had the same hurting problem. It may be your kidneys instead of your liver, but i would still go to the doc to make sure.  ------------------ | ||

i've had this prob when taking winnie, go get some milk thistle & some b-complex. this helps aid liver in the detoxification in the blood. it still took about a week for me to get rid of. seeing a doc is still not a bad idea. good luck | ||

E2 also wrote something about calcium... something - do a search. And I'm not sure if the liver is what hurts or the tissues around it that get compressed when it swells... all I know is it hurts like a bitch. when I was in school my side was killing me so that I couldn't even slep, so I got up and went to the health center - the step off the curb was such a jarring shock that I fell down in pain. | ||

Was the pain on the right side where the liver is? Could also be a Kidney. Kidney pain can hurt from the side all the way around to the back. I would say to stay away from winny if that's what's causeing it and agree with the others that you should get to the doctor and have it checked out............ | ||
