Hardcore I am tiny I competed at 141 ( that picture) diet down from 178. I am 5'4 and my arms are not big ( 16") I am very thick from heavy lifting and off season get heavy though not above 11%. My waist is 26" in that picture and 28" now so it makes me look bigger. My bodyfat for the show taken by my trainer the day before was 2.5% and if you saw my face I looked dead. Can you say overdiet. | ||

It took us a lot to nurse Flexed1 back to normal health after this competition. Some people do not realize the physical and emotional toll it plays on you. Actually he looked even larger and cutter two weeks after competition after he started eating normally. We actually had a ceremony after he won his trophy right there at the competition where we threw away all his rice cakes and other diet foods!!!!!!!! | ||

Flexed, From what I was told from very close friends of Ray's that he spent $10,000 for this contest.It was "Do or Die" for him. I'll see you at this year's.I wont be competing I have to save money for my 1 year vacation in East Europe. ------------------ | ||

Texasamm yea he spent a shit load but it was for him do or die as it was shamelful to admit for me. cost me alot in terms of personal life at that time something I may always regret. going on stage is not at all cheap and the time spent and the money on foods and supplements adds up fast. Ray, is a powerlifter so is very thick and it was harder for him to get on stage. 10,000 yea I heard that number to. |
