The guy who delivers express mail will not leave me shit without a signature. This is a domestic package with no sig required. Priority mail is no problem but that's a different dude. What is the deal with that I HATE SIGNING FOR SHIT anyone else have this problem? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Agreed. A dog may have sniffed it or it got picked up on xray. No reason to require a signature. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

If the sender did not require a signature and they refuse to give you the package without one, something is up......walk away. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Ask your postman to see the package as on the Express Mail document right above your address there is a box for waiver of signature. If that box isn't checked and signed by the person that sent it then they will require a signatiure(the sender may have fucked up and forgot to check or sign the waiver). If the waiver is checked and signed then tell your postman he is full of shit and to fuck off. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

They probably want your signature as proof of delivery. To them, a signature waiver is useful so that when no one is home they can leave the package. They are doing business and want to cover their ass. I have never ordered anything illegal, but I always draw a straight line as my signature whever I get a package. ![]() ![]() ![]()

He said this was a domestic package so no dog is going to be sniffing anything, nor will the package ever be scanned because it does not go through customs. The US post office is not allowed to open domestic packages unless it looks suspicious, i.e. leaking oil. Sign for the package and quit being so paranoid. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

My only real concern is that the last express mail package delivered was from an overseas package that got busted by customs. This was almost a year ago. The cops delivered that one but I did not sign for it either and luckily used a fake name. I have to wonder if the cops asked the postal detective to keep an eye out for anything coming into my addy or anything like that. I mean why can't they just leave the damn thing in my box. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

think of this scenario-- I am going to send you a box of illegal substance XYZ. On it I address it to John Doe, care of your address. A week later when it arrvies your postman rings your doorbell saying you have to sign for this package. You sign for it, wondering what the hell it is because you didn't order anything. You open it up and find all this shit, knowing someone has made a mistake. Theres no return address so you throw it away. Just before you make it out to the trash, the DEA, FBI, CIA, & NSA all jump out of white vans and grab you, telling you that you will be put away for life for purchasing illegal XYZ. You tell the judge that you never purchased XYZ before, you just received a package that was mistakenly sent to your address. When you opened it up, you knew it was junk and were about to throw it away. The judge dismisses the case. Common sense always prevails. Unfortuantely, common sense is not that common nowadays. Don't use your real name ever, dont handwrite a signature ever and if worse comes to worse deny deny deny. People that have broken the law in many ways worse than you have gotten off with far less. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Postal delivery people will almost always ask you to sign for express packages, even when the "no sig" box is checked. The "no sig" box basically allows the PO to leave the package if no one is there to receive it. If someone is home, the postman will have to sign for it himself if you don't, and most of them don't want to do that. If the package had no unexplained delays, go ahead and sign for it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

they don't use dogs for AS, the dogs can't sniff out your stuff unless it's drugs. it was probably from a flagged source, or it was x-rayed. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I say, dont answer the door.. see if he leaves it and if he takes off with the package either let em go or run out the door and catch him, if he leaves it then BINGO!!! ------------------ Life is short ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

If you are too paranoid to get it then have it returned to sender and email your source telling him what happened. He will resend it back to you. If its domestic then you will get it back a few days later. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I can assure you that the man is not sitting at the post office just waiting for you to show up. Just go unannounced and get the package. If they have you waiting there for more than five minutes then I would jet. If they come right out with it your all good. If it was a big shippment they would try to deliver it to you and get you to take it anyway they could. Being paranoid isn't always bad but don't let it control you. If it sounds like a duck and looks like a duck its probally a duck. Count your losses and let it go, but yours doesn't sound like a duck it only looks like one so I would give it one more try at the post office. My $.02 ![]() ![]() ![]() |
