Honestly how many semi wide grip chins to the front can you guys do without swaying all over the place? I know the importance of this exercise and start my back routine with it but my bi strength always gives first. I'm trying to get to 20 on my first set with nice form and no help but I'm stuck at 15. How many can you big guys do? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I weigh 230 and can do 12 good form, with wraps though. I try to do 5 sets 1.5-2 min rest and do between 8-12 reps plus forced reps. The more you weigh the harder they are. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I can do about 10 reps. I weigh about 300lbs though. Try adding weight to where you can only get about 8 reps all out. Then drop down and do just your bodyweight. After a few weeks, 20 reps with your bodyweight should be no problem. B True ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Never used wraps, How much do they help? How many reps on the chins do you think they may add? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I am 185 at 5ft4 and can do 13 chins my 1st set and they go down each set. Try and vary your hand width each workout. By doing them only one way your body will get used to them. Every workout switch grips. It will take some getting used too, but your overall growth should be pretty good in a very short while. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
