Ok I find more and more folks who hate that I just use my aol addy for mail. Well I need help, I have tried and tried to get hushmail to work. When I try to register it says I have to download/install virtual machine. When I try to download virtual machine it says my security settings are too high. I lower my secruity settings but it still says they are too high. With all you guys running hushmail someone must have had this problem before. I appreciate your advice. ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

You need to run a Java client such as Virtual Machine to access Hushmail. Also for this reason Hushmail will not work with a Mac, IIRC. My advise to you is to install Virtual Machine off the Windows CD that came with your computer and then update it using the Windows Update feature. You could also install the latest version of Internet Explorer along with VM. Once you get Virtual Machine working, Hushmail should work, though keep in mind Hushmail is slow. The real benefit of using hushmail is member-to-member encryption. For this purpose it is very good. Since a lot of the people that you will talk to on this board have a hushmail account, it might be worthwhile to use hushmail for communicating with them more securely, if nothing else.
