does anyone know the name of the actual drug used to deplete the myostatin gene in your body.... it's what they use on cows n shit to make their muscles grow 2-3 times the size    | ||

i don't think its a simple drug, there's an article on it in this months musclemag, i think it has something to do with altering the genetic code of the muscles  | ||

Not a drug, it would be gene therapy and it's nowhere near ready for human testing. "Muscle-doubling" or "double-muscling" is a genetic defect caused by the (inactive)myostsin gene. I had a few web sites saved, but deleted them, just doa search for more info, Scientic American is a good place to start. Have you guys seen the pictures of the mouse leg in this month's Musclemag Uncensored? I can't wait to see the first jackass that tries this shit. He'll turn into a 500lb blob that can't wipe his own ass, or even walk a few feet without getting winded. I'd rather build my muscles the old fashioned way.. | ||

actually ronnie colman greg covacs n lots of other pro body builders use it..... get away with 1 shot every six months......in anything ive ever read it has never named the actual name of the drug. | ||

Called the house an hour ago and a package arrived for me, the only thing I've ordered was the stuff from the website selling myostatin protein treatments. I really hope it came with some guidelines, otherwize it's getting tossed out. But gene therapy is a lengthy process. It involves many sessions before you will see/feel any substantial results. So I'm not holding my breath for any serious gains in the near future. | ||

Maybe I'm talking out of my ass...but I seriuosly doubt that you can buy myostatin gene therapy mail order. That's probably a scam. C'mon now, use common sense, that's like ordering human cloning material mail order. No flame intended...I just doubt the validity of that stuff mail order...there's no way they have anything ready for human use at this time. At least nothing disclosed to the public... ------------------ | ||

Hey it may very well be my latest issue of Flex magzine. But I have gotten two e-mails asking for an additional PO number and a fax number. Chances are slim it's the real thing. If it is I'll take some pics and post them of the stuff. But wfabrizio has a point, it's more than likely I lost 500 bucks. | ||
