My current diet is 6 meals spaced throughout the day from 8AM to 8PM. I've heard it's not good to eat before you go to sleep, but fasting from 8PM to 8 AM seems like a long time. Can I eat a light meal at 10 if I go to bed at midnight?

If you are on a cycle, in my opinion, you defintely need to eat after 8pm, perhaps a meal at 10 and right before bed a shake, or even wake up in the night to have one. If not using gear a shake before bed but a smaller meal at 10. ------------------

Thanks. I'm not on right now, but I'm trying to lean out a bit. I'll try adding the meal at 10. When you say shake at bedtime, do you mean an MRP or just protien powder + water?

Right before bed try not to get in any carbs, you are about to sleep and your body shouldnt need to use to much energy and so it would be more likely that it convert to fat. Also remember carbs reduce natural gh release so this is another reason not to consume carbs right before bed. Protein shake and water is a good choice. ------------------

I usually eat a few egg whites and a small can of tuna fish right before going to sleep. This give's your body needed protein while sleeping. Remember your growing while you rest. This won't make you fat.

Depends on your goals - gfasting overnight sets the body up nicely for AM cardio on empty tummy.

if you try too lean out, then skip the meal. You are not on it for now, and don't want fat, so? ------------------ Don't look back, life is too short

I take it you have never had a blood test? You must fast 12 hours before a blood test,no big deal,if you do it overnight while sleeping. And Uh,make sure you get regular blood work if using AS.Very important ------------------ |
