I have been sticking to this schedule:
Day 1 - Chest, shoulders, abs
Day 3 - quads, hams, calves, abs
Day 5 - Back, bis & tris, abs
Day 7 - Repeat cycle

Am I doing too little or too much for any muscle group?
My weak point is shoulders. I can't seem to put on mass on my delts. Chest is still my #1 priority, so I always do chest first before shoulders. Just want to find out what are your favourite shoulder/chest exercises?

add an extra work-out to your split, where you work your shoulders and tris in own day.

i.e. my split

mo legs
tu rest
we back, abs
th SHOULDERS, tris
fr rest
sa rest
su chest, bi's

this should work..

Thanks Tirex and Bazooka. I will train my shoulders seperately. I thought Bazooka's schedule looks good. Tirex, my arms are pretty developed, so I dun need to blast it twice a week. Thanks for the feedback bros!

Here's mine..

M Chest/Tri's
T Off
W Legs/Calves
T Shoulders/Traps
F Off
Sat Back/Bi's
Sun Off

I also do 30 min cardio every morning on an empty stomach, and abs are done 3-4 days/week now that summer is on the way. This is what my schedule looked like last week, but it changes all the time.. sometimes ill do chest/tri's on sunday and take monday off.. sometimes i'll take 2-3 days off and then workout everyday the rest of the week.. just depends on my mood. I try to keep my routine changing. Like yesterday.. I worked chest, but didn't work tri's.. im taking today off and doing nothing but cardio.. then tommorow i'll work tri's...... I have a weird schedule. Its never the same. Sometimes I'll hit legs on Mon then again on Fri.

Just wanted to throw this point in.. Keep your body guessing and don't get stuck in the same routine. When I first started lifting, I didn't know jack shit and I had a terrible workout partner who thought he knew everything about lifting, but somehow the guy never put on any size, and he never worked legs.. I should've picked up on that! But to make a long story short, he had been doing the same routine since he started working out, and every week for God knows how long he had me doing the same shit..... and I grew.. but after a while my body got use to it and it wasn't as effective. Keep your muscles guessing, I have found through my own experience, that it works best.

My split is as follows

Mon:Chest
Tue:Back
Wed:Arms
Thur:Legs
Fri:Shoulders
Sat ff
Sun ff

Abs are done every day.
Thats it one body part a day for 1 hour
Except for legs which takes longer.2 days in a row off. It works for me
