I considered selling all my freeweights and accessories to help save room and clean up around the basement. I was thinking of buying a top of the line Bowflex. Has anyone here had any great results with these machines? Some of the more serious bodybuilders at the local gym tell me that free weights aren't as good as machine based exercises for building size and shape, the freeweights mainly build strength. Is this true?    | ||

I bought a bowflex for my lady. I only use it if I absolutely can't get to the gym. It's like a cable workout really. It's also good if you have an injury and shgouldn't mess with the "big" stuff for a while. As for free weights, nothing beats them I think. Stay with the free weights... Or get a gym membership and use the machines + weights there. Bowflex will go the way of all the other crap "fitness" machines. ------------------ | ||

I wouldn't trade in free weights.....Would u trade in some Deca for some creatine...Nuff said!....Happy training |
