I have a question about Deca Durabolin and it's side effects. It is rumored to be the "safest" steriod, but what about blood clotting? I hear Deca can cause blood clots, and if so, what can be done to prevent it? What I really need to know is, if you don't go over 400mg Deca a week on an 8 week cycle, do you still have a good chance at getting a blood clot? This seems to be an awesome steroid until I found this information out. Also is it safe to mix 2 different kinds of Deca on a cycle? For example on 200mg weeks use Nandrolone Decanoate(Norma Hellas) and on the 400mg weeks use Norandren 200(Brovel)? Please help!    | ||

the SAFEST roid available. Yeah right. If gyno, Deca dick, a little water retention is not important. I will go on Primo (what else), Winny, Ox, EQ, Test and so on before the Deca again. But some guys love it....Decaman, 2Thick, they swear by it. So it is a mather of opinion. ------------------ Don't look back, life is too short  | ||

I kinda agree with Jeff. A lot of guys swear by it, but I think the sides are pretty rough (although I've never heard anything about blood clots). I usually substitute Equipoise where others use Deca. The only real advantage of deca that I can see is that is definitely relieves joint pain. I'm not positive, but I think the blood clots would be as a result in an increase in red blood cell production due to the deca consumption. if that is the case, then to prevent problems with it, you want to do the same thing the endurance athletes do with EPO (another blood thickening agent - makes more red blood cells so you can carry more O2) - take in lots of water and don't stay sedentary for too long (this prevents pooling in veins) - the cyclists take it to extremes and their coaches will wake them up in the night and have them walk around for a bit so that lying down for 8 hours won't result in something bad. I've heard of many compications from EPO usage, haven't heard of this from the people I know that did Deca at the same amounts you are talking about. -hs | ||

blood clotting and nose bleeds is a side effect of deca.personally ive never experienced and bad effects from deca, i love it.my friend on the other hand gets frequent nose bleeds and if he gets the tiniest cut it will bleed for a long time.deca dick ive never heard of before coming to these boards and never experienced it so everybody different.hope this helps | ||

Deca thins the blood which is why nose bleeds and prolonged clotting time..so since it is a blood thinner then the chance of having a blood clot is extremely rare | ||

deca isn't the safest but it is one of them. Primobolan is the safest steroid as far as I know. I wouldn't stress out while using deca. |
