We all know that after finishing a cycle of gear, we lose a certain amount of strength+mass. One of the mechanisms that the body uses to enhance our strength, is by maintaining artificially high ATP levels within our cells. This is achieved via the administration of exogeneous steroidal substances. However, once the steroids are discontinued, ATP levels drastically drop. This greatly affects our strength. Lets look at what DNP can do for us, regarding the strength loss. DNP, as we all know blocks the conversion of glucose to ATP, therefore drastically reducing ATP levels within the cell. This would normally be bad for our strength, but not if it was used in conjunction with steroids. The steroids would keep ATP levels above the critical stregth-loss point within our cells. One way one could theoretically use the DNP to eliminate post-cycle muscle catabolism and strength loss would be to administer the DNP on the the last week of steroid use. This would cause ATP levels to drastically drop. This would not cause any amount of muscle catabolism because DNP has been demonstrated to be anti-proteolytic. However, after the cessation of the DNP(and a week after the cessation of steroid use), one would experience a super-compensation effect regarding ATP levels. Since ATP levels have been so low for a week(due to the DNP), the body responds to this by increasing them drastically. An analogy to this would be the glycogen super-compensation achieved using a cyclical ketogenic diet. Duchaine reffered to this as the "anabolic rebound effect" So theoretically, after only one week(not the usual 3 or 4 weeks) ATP levels would be back to normal. Any comments would be welcome.
