just wondering if there is a significant difference between 25 and 23 gauge needles in terms of scar tissue. I know the 25 takes a little longer to shoot, but if it reduces scars, i think it's worth it.

Personally I don't think it makes much of a difference. . .obviously the smaller the pin the less scar tissue in the end, but remember it has a great deal to do with technique and not moving the pin around when its inside you. . .the smaller the pin the longer the injection the more chance for movement and added trauma to the injection site. . .I think that 22gg is about the perfect size for oil based AS and 25gg is fine for water based, but I wouldn't shoot oils with them. It would take an hour to shoot 5cc of oil through a 25gg pin. . .not thanks to that. ------------------

I use 25g pins. Mainly because I do not want the added scar tissue. ------------------

go with the smaller one. A few times it felt like I was playing a video game with the syringe."joystick" |
