I went to the Doc to get something for my acne, and to get my naturally occuring gyno checked out. As I am going over seas for 6 months he wouldn't put me on acutane, however I did get a 6 month prescription of Gen Minocycline 50mg. Anyone know what this shit is, and more importantly will it take care of the acne when I hit the sauce again? As for my naturally occuring gyno, he had a look and say its fine. But he wanted to have some lab work done on it to see if everything was ok, and if something wasn't right he said I should get it removed. I basically said that I want the procedure done regardless. Anyways this is what was checked off on the General Requisition for the Laboratory Services: Hematology: Urinalysis: Chemistry: Lipids: Endocrine: Now my question is this: will they be able to tell I've used sauce from any of this? I'm pretty sure they'd notice something was up if I did the tests while on, but I'm figuring that if I've been clean for a while they won't notice anything. I'm not going have to take these tests for 6 months, and since I'm moving to the relative drug friendly Netherlands, I'm going to do a fairly decent cycle or two. Then come back say 30-40 pounds heavier, get the suckers cut out, then stick to mild cycles where I concentrate of lagging parts.

The only thing even remotely possible to tell if you were juicin' is your ALT level. This is a liver enzyme, and it would be elevated in the presence of many different steroids. Cholesterol (the bad one) could also be high, but steroid use would be furthest from the doctor's mind on this one. | ||

that "cycline" stuff is a pretty stong antibiotic. I had it tetracycline prescribed for me a long time. I didn't work at all. And AS and oral antibiotics don't mix, so don't use that stuff while on a cycle. Stick to the topicals, or Accutane if your acne is really bad. | ||

But if I'm clean for a month or two the ALT levels would look alright? My only concern is long lasting stuff like Decca being tracable. sbaset thanks for the info on the mixing with AS. I probally would have went ahead and hit the stuff while taking the anti-biotics. As for acutane I can still get a script for that, but he'll be checking my blood all the time. I'm assuming he'd be able to "notice" the sauce? Actually my acne is quite minor, I only get the odd zit on my face, and the odd one on my back until I tryed sust. Then my face got a little worse but not much, but my back became a moon surface of zits, it was just gross. Rubbing alcohol and tanning took care of it for the most part. However I would like the permenant solution of acutane. I guess it closes your pores? Thanks for the help GC ------------------ -Nietzsche | ||

Get a new doctor. If you are not comfortable enough to be honest with him and tell him you have used AS, then you need to find another Doc. | ||

If you have juiced, then why do you say the gyno is natural? And why does it really matter if the Dr. knows? ------------------ | ||

it's true. my cousin told his doc. that it was due to A/S and then the doc told him that insurance wouldn't cover it. now he's bustin his ass to save up money to get it down the old fashioned way. |
