Ok, for those of you who know I dont ususally buy supplements because of their price in this country compared to the resuls they provide. Someone on this board provided me with a company and their web site. I checked it out and placed an order with them. Here is what I ordered. 1. 5 KGS of pure ion exchange whey protein made by Nutrisport (this stuff is the nuts). 2. 24 flap jacks high in protein 15 grams each, low in fat 4 grams and good carbs, each one is 480 cals which is perfect for snacks when bulking. 3. 20 Ny-Tro Pro AST Sports Science Meal replacements, normally �39.99 I was given 500grams of creatine free and got everything for �86. That normally would cost well over �150. ALl of you should go and check it out, and whoever posted that site in one of my posts, thanks. I used to know of a guy called Samir Kiami and he had a company called SK Sports supplies. I heard he got a unit in Trafford Park, Manchester. Is this the same guy? as I knew him many years ago. May even take a trip there some time as its local to me. | ||

Is it true that you guys cannot get whey protein over there? America is flooded with supplements. 5lbs of Whey for less than $30. 400mgs of creatine for like $14. ------------------ | ||

Yeah we can get whey. It's a bi-product of cheese, so I'd imagine it is available most places. You can get it in bulk (raw) or there are thousands of companies that package it. | ||

MP5, to give you a rough idea of how expensive our supplements are: Prolab Whey Protein, the 5lbs container = $59.99 when converted, I know you can get that for about half price over there, good thing is that aas is a lot cheaper over here. ------------------ | ||

Cheesey, I am eating one as we speak. I have always disliked the taste of protein bars and other such products but this tastes better than candy. Each contains 480 calories, so 2 should do nicely when bulking. The good thing is 24 bars for about �12. ------------------ | ||

Thanks for the info iron game, you might want to try out www.betterbodz.co.uk, its the cheapest uk source for supplements i know of at the moment. Also if you have a holland and barrett in your area you can get a 900 gram tub of micronised whey for �10.99 which normally sells for �21.99 going to stock up before the offer finishs. | ||

Hey Gymbob, I dont think that offer at Holland & Barrett will finish anytime soon, it has been going on for over a year now. I have tried it a few times but it doesnt taste all that well. Even the new improved taste ones leave a bad taste behind in my mouth. Thanks for the other sites fellas ------------------ | ||

Ah right, its only just been reduced up here in yorkshire, im going to try it for a bit then maybe go back to soy protein which is the only way i can afford to get the amount of protein i need. P.S. iron game, i just sent you email are you still using that addy? | ||

Hey guys Im suprised to see that some of you are from Yorkshire & Manchester. Im from Rotherham in Yorkshire. Ive been usind Prolab N-large2 for 50 pound/10lb container & it only lasts 7 days. No wonder our bouncers are so skinny. Anyway, I train in same gym as Andrew "Stumpy" Rynes & Graham Miller-both competed in Briton Strongest man. At least we pay less for our steroids $ dont have to worry about mail order scams. | ||
