alright first things first. So u know what all the variables are. I bought 2 carts of fina pellets, and 2 kits. The kits are from Syn___ Dir___. Ok I let the pellets sit forever to dissolve(almost a week). Then I heated it up a little and it dissolved like a charm. I let it cool. filled the 5c syringe with a couple c's of oil to purge later. Then I added remaining oil to the solution. It would not mix with the solution. No matter how many times I swirled it, it kept separating. So with the oil on top, solution in the middle, and binders(glue and other waste)on the bottom, I filled the 10c syringe with oil and brown solution. Went through the filter just fine. A little slow but, it worked. I went to repeat the process and I can't get anything through. I realize that the filter is probably clogged, but what can i do? I have another filter, for the other kit, but then I am fucked for the 2nd cart. How do i solve this problem without wasting what I have made already?     | ||

you are fine, the kit you have does that, it does not seperate............i just made some last week, heat it up and put it though the filter | ||

I agree that a little bit of heat will help the oil. Just watch the heat as too much will discolor your final product.

ok, i got the heat thing down, it worked once now it wont budge. I only have the oil and red colored solution, but i already have 25 c's, WTF? | ||

Same thing happened to me a couple of days ago. Found that I had twisted the filter on too tight. Try loosening it a bit. | ||

You can run iso propyl alcohol through the filter (I'm assuming is a sub-micron filter) a few times and it will clear it up for use again. Andy |
