I'm a smoker and I only really notice its effects during heavy cardio. Of course I don't smoke the hour before my routine and after. You definately need to have oxygen to fuel those muscles. It's a nasty habit but I have to admit I enjoy smoking. I plan to quit by this summer. Been smoking for 13 years.

I read somewhere that nicotine acts as an antiestrogen. It is a scientific fact that smoking prevents you from getting all the nutrients you can from food.

It all depends if you are a man or a boy. People do not start out taking 1 gram a week of test, they start off low and build themselves up to bigger cycles.

This is usually done, in the most part, to see how well you react to that particular steroid. If you get too many sides from it then you are not going to add it into future cycles. It is research, doing one gram a week of test may cause a little more water bloat, a little bit of a higher bp pressure and perhaps a few more spots than 500mgs, but the difference is quite minimal if you know what you are doing. Testosterone is probably the best overall steroid ever available.

You are not going to take 1000mgs of test if when you took it at doses of 500-750/wk caused you to have too many sides.

The extra sides you may suffer when using 500mgs of test compared to 1000mgs is very slight.

I would take testosterone at 1000mgs for some 8-10 wk cycles throughout the year over smoking any day. What you must remember is you also have the ancillary drugs to help combat the sides. Proviron, Nolva, Clomid, Hcg, Cytadren, the list goes on. What can you help your body with when trying to reverse the sides of smoking?

I have not said anywhere that smoking is bad or good, personally I dont believe it is, but get your facts right bro.

The tobbaco industry on the other hand is being sued by morons who get lung cancer from smoking their products? What is happening nowadays.

You're sucking fucking carbon monoxide into you lungs for christ's sake!!! It looks like you're looking for an excuse NOT to quit smoking. You need to do some thinking...

I agree with The Iron Game. It's so fucking stupid that people who've been smoking for 30 yrs turn around and sue tabacco com. Just cause they don't have the will power to do what they want. That shit makes me mad as hell

Yeah, smoking most definately fucks you up in the long run. What every non-smoker doesn't understand though, is that most smokers do it because they enjoy it. I'm one of those. Part of it is addiction to a small extent but the majority of it is enjoyment.

Don't light those flame throwers yet....yeah believe it or not smokers actually enjoy it. I think the general public perception is that smokers either lack will power or are addicted. I race motorcycles and that is bad for my health. I use AS which has the potential to cause health problems. I fly in airplanes, yada yada yada..... what I'm basically saying is that every single one of us does things that put us at risk in some form or another. In my opinion smoking is one of those things.

Either way I do plan to quit. I've been in the medical field and yeah, I've seen the lung diseases, the heart disease, etc. caused by smoking. The funny thing is, most of the medical and hospital staff I worked with smoked.

Well I do admire those that do everything thats good for them and have no bad habits, but the reality of it is that there are alot of us that love lifting, but also love partying at times and have some bad habits like smoking or not always eating right.

I applaud those bodybuilders that lead strict lives, but not all of us are in this game to win bodybuilding titles.....

Let's look at it this way..

If the doctor told you tommorow that you have lung cancer and will die in a few months, years, or whatever if you didn't stop, you would stop right? So why ever start? I know some people say they enjoy it but so do crackheads. Smoking has killed 3 people in my family so far and kills thousands a year. Doesn't sound like an innocent little habit to me. Second hand smoke kills also but we have no idea how many. Plus on top of that it's unattractive and just looks plain stupid. You're sucking smoke into your lungs! For what? To relax? To lose weight? Sounds like more excuses to me...

I'm sorry to hear about the losses you have suffered. I have relatives who have lung disease, etc. from smoking.

My point is this: You can never regulate what decisions people will make for themselves. What about alcohol? It is responsible for as much if not more health and especially social problems than cigarettes.

I don't make excuses for myself or others. Period. All that I'm saying is that almost every activity that we engage in is harmful to ourselves or others to some extent. Hell, driving a car endangers yourself and others.

I wasn't attacking you or anyone else directly wfabrizio. Although you can't really compare driving a car(which is something that you almost have to do, it's not necessary in any way to smoke though)to smoking or drinking; I wouldn't want to say anyone is a bad person for doing such. I just think it's a shame that so many people have ended their lives early or made the remainder of their lives hell just so they could drink or smoke. Seems like a terrible trade off to me...
