I am severely obese and in need of good weight loss info, however, don't want to sacrifice muscle.

Are you being serious? If so, do some research or go read a magazine. There are plenty with good diet advice. Nutrition coupled with a weight training routine will work wonders for 90% of people out there in the US.

Well, there are numerous supplements you can use, but the most important thing is your diet! Everyone basically knows what to eat and what not to eat, it's just self control standing in your way!

special ed, your gonna realize that this isn't something you can pop some clen, meridia and ace and expect to get rid of. Go see a doc, get a blood workup and make sure your thyroid levels are checked. After that some lean body mass might help after you drop to 20-25% body fat.

BRO I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL. I AM AN X FAT ASS AND IT TOOK ALOT OF WILL POWER AND DEDICATION TO HELP LOOSE ALL THAT FAT. THE THINGS I DID WAS I TOTALLY CHANGED MY DIET AND STARTED TO WORKOUT. I WENT FROM EATING EVERYTHING (JUNK FOOD) TO EATING ABOUT 5-6 HEALTHY MEALS A DAY. I ATE ANYTHING HIGH IN PROTEIN WITH MOD CARBS AND LOW FAT. I DID CARDIO IN THE MORNING ON AN EMPTY STOMACH FOR ABOUT 30 MIN WITH THE HELP OF AN ECA STACK. I NOTICED THAT THE ECA MADE ME FEEL ALOT LESS HUNGRY ALL THE TIME AND ALSO HELPED ME KEEP THE LITTLE AMOUNT OF MUSCLE I HAD, I ALSO STARTED TO GO TO THE GYM 5 DAYS A WEEK AND WORKED ONE BODY PART EACH DAY. JUST EAT HEALTHY TRY TO GET AT LEAST 1.5 GRAMS OF PROTEIN PER POUND OF BODY WEIGHT SO YOU DON'T LOOSE MUSCLE AND DO CARDIO IN THE MORNING FOR ABOUT 30MIN AND THE WEIGHT SHOULD START TO COME OFF. HOPE THIS HELPS
GOOD LUCK. IF YOU NEED ANY MORE HELP YOU CAN E-MAIL ME ANYTIME

Put the chicken leg down!!

Just joking bro.....in all honesty my sister was extremely overweight and went on the Atkins diet for 4 months. She lost 60lbs. No lie bro, that diet works.

I definately wouldn't look at taking any kind of meds, etc. If you earn it with hard work you'll keep it. It's just like bodybuilding. After spending years to get yourself in shape you don't want to blow it.

Good luck bro and watch out for those excess carbs!

do what the guys said. i prefer low carb, not neccessarily keto diets. eat about as low calorie as you can stand, high protein, flax oil, and mainly green veggies for your carbohydrates.

i would suggest ANY weight lifting program for the most part just to get your muscles used to lifting weights. work on your cardiovascular system with aerobics and ease into a German Body Comp style of weight training. don't get paranoid about keeping muscle if you are severely obese. take precations, but don't go overboard with it.

Good for you Mustang. C'mon you guys, y'all can do better than that. This is a person who had the balls to come on this board and admit they are severely obese! If it was all about will power and dieting, none of you would be using Clen, ECA or T3. What kind of welcome is that? Sorry but I have no experience in that area or else I would offer some help.

If you're really overweight and want to lose it, losing muscle should be the LAST thing on your mind at this point! The guy who said go to the doctor 1st is right. They can help you immensely these days with weight loss and prescribe things to help. Get aerobic exercise everyday and CHANGE your diet.

I may go see what the docs have. I know that clen and cytomel would help, and of course the ECA stack. I need to lose about 150 lbs, and I don't want to lose any muscle,
I had good gains a couple of years ago with 2 cycles of Ref-B and although I don't work out nearly as much as I used to, I still have most of the gains I made with the gear.
What I really need to know is if I start dropping weight like hell, could I take Winny tabs or Anavar or something else to offset the muscle loss that is bound to happen with large amounts of aerobic activity?

special ed, give the Atkin's Diet a try (buy the paperback book for $5 and read it first). It's a low-carb (aka ketogenic) diet. For me it's a lot easier than other diets and it worked pretty good for me. Dropped about 24lb in slightly less than 2 months. Very overweight people respond to it even better.

Basically you pretty much remove all carbs from your diet (breads, cereals, sugars etc) and consume a lot of fat and protein. Your body enters a state known as "ketosis" where it'll start burning fat for energy. You'll be eating bacon, steak, eggs, pork rinds etc all day long.

Also get yourself on an ECA stack (after consulting your doctor of course).

I'm a wrestler and if anyone should know about cutting weight and keeping muscle it should be a wrestler. Jog and lift. Eat a lot of protein to keep your muscle, but whatever you do jog and jog a lot! If you can't run 2-3 miles everyday then start off walking a 100yds , slow jog 100yds and keep doing it until you can eventually run for 2 miles straight. Your goal should be to run 3 miles in under 15 minutes. Sound too tough? Well hey if you're really that motivated to lose the weight you'll either reach your goal or come very close to it. Don't look for anabolics to give you the easy way out. And if you're really that obese you should definitely go to the doctor but that doesn't mean that you should stop training. The doc won't make you thin in a flash you gotta work for it. I've seen a lot of guys lose a ton of unhealthy weight really fast doing this. Good luck, stay healthy, work hard!

Hey bro, if you are quite obeese then you should not really worry to much about sacrificing muscle tissue at this point. Just do everything to increase your metabolism. Smaller meals throughout the day, high protein intake, an early morning fast walk for 15 minutes before breakfast, drink plenty of water and do some cardio. ONce you have done this then look into the fat burners in the health shops and use them as directed.

OK love these kinds of problems.

1. How obese and lets not talk tonnage how about a percent body fat count.
2. Depending on the answer you can plan on losing 1 to 2% per month.
3. Change diet
4. Excerise regularly.
5. Mix in some T3.
6. If necessary use a touch of DNP.

The Atkins diet or the Protein Power diet will help alot, my brother went from 315 down to 235 in about 7 months on the Protien Power diet. That was 2 years ago and he has keep the weight off by doing a 3-day workout ever since. If you do the Protein diet and lift you will not lose that much muscle to notice and after you lose the weight you will be able to eat all the right foods to promote good muscle gains. Best of luck to you, YOU CAN DO IT!
