Now the mex govt has passed a NEW law controlling veterinary steroids and Ketamine. The law has already been passed but isn't being enforced yet because of a few things: 1. new president taking office in mex, 2. mex congress on vacation Dec. & Jan. 3. the pharmaceutical company's right to appeal the new law, appeals start next month. But the law has already passed.

It's hard to say when this new law will go into effect, but you can guarantee it will sometime this year. And this, "I remember when 'roids were controlled meds in mex and I could still get them no problem"- doesn't mean anything now because you can't compare the law regulating human pharmaceuticals to one which regulates veterinary pharmaceuticals. This veterinary law will be much easier to enforce because there aren't that many Veterinary supply houses in mexico. In Tj there are somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 pharmacies for every 1 vet shop (if even that, maybe 20-1), and most of these Vet shops buy their veterinary steroids from 1 or 2 MAIN supply houses in TJ, not from the actual company.

So ultimately, the law will go into effect, availability will diminish, prices will go up, you'll need a prescription, buying in "bulk" will be harder, and you'll have to worry about getting popped by mex federales if they catch you with vet steroids...Your best bet is to establish a good business relationship with your Vet/supplier in mex now, that way when the law is in effect you will have a better chance of getting what you need or at least being pointed in the right direction.
