Hey bros. Ive been having alot of trouble sleeping lately, and its getting extremely annoying and getting in the way of my workouts. I was taking things like Valium once in a while at night to go to sleep, but I dont want to depend on those kinds of medications. Ive heard some people using Melatonin, and was just wondering how it worked for you if youve used it. Did it help you fall asleep, and keep you asleep? And how did you feel the next morning when you woke up....Any info would be appreciated. Thanks | ||

I've used melatonin a lot. 2-3mgs knock me out pretty solid with some fucked up dreams. I'm a little fuzzy in the morning. Kind of like after taking nyquil. If I'm going to be training in the morning, I'll take valerian root caps, which give me a decent night sleep and I wake up pretty clean. ------------------ | ||

a valarian, kava, melatonin mix works well. Don't get to carried away with the melatonin. Also look for the time released melatonin it will keep you asleep. Hops tea or camamile can help also. Find a boring book to read before you go to bed that works for me | ||

Melatonin definately works for me coupled with a good book. However, Valerian root has to build up in your system. Takes a couple of weeks. |
