***True, although GBL can still legally be sold and possessed as an industrial chemical intermediantary, it is only illegal to sell and consume as a nutritional supplement. 1.4 butanediol is the other precurser to GHB and it is still legal and a little more accessible. GHB is completely illegal, I am starting to notice it's demise almost everywhere around the world...Funny, how such an extremely beneficial chemical can be outlawed by our FDA and then dissappear almost abruptly with a bad name no less...Then you still have the socially acceptable and extremely addictive culprits nicotine and alcohol...I guess "Big Brother" is just watching out for us??? Feel the same Ghrelease. The FDA doesn't want us to have access to it, because it can't be taxed being a metabolite of the body. | ||

I thought GBL was just a "watched chemical" not illegal. Is it completely illegal to possess now? | ||

I live in WA, and I have tried to purchase GBL numerous times from local chemical companies. It is not "watched" in WA it is downright scheduled, possecion of GBL in WA is almost WORSE than possecion of GHB because you can be charged with intent to manufacture. it may be different in other states. It is very sad, GHB when used responsibly is very beneficial. I'm very pissed about the legal status. ------------------ |
