How many mg is in 1 IU? I know that Serona has 126IU in a Growth kit and has 7mg on the box. Is that 7mg for each 18iu bottle or for the full 126iu?

It breaks down, to the fact that once you have reconstituted the gh, the 11 units on a insulin syringe equal 1 i.u. 7 bottles in a kit of 126iu's comes out to 18iu's a bottle. Remember the an insulin syringe unit does not in any way refer to or come close to an i.u.

I think after most read the posts above, they'll be more confused about International Units than ever. IU is an arbitrary unit. It cannot be measured on a scale, in a graduated cylinder, or in a syringe. It is a measure of biological activity of a substance. It is used when the pure substance is either impossible to achieve, or the pure substance is unstable at its pure form. The IU markings on an insulin syringe only apply to insulin. NOTHING else. Do not use those graduations for hGH, hCG, or anything else. Therefore, read the directions on your kit very carefully. Then you'll get a correct concentration after reconstitution, and that's the part that really matters. Don't even concern yourself with the mg to IU ratio -- it's just not relevant. Once you reconstitute your hGH and get a proper IU/ml ratio, then you know exactly how much to inject. |
