 Mixing Fina and Winny before injecting?

To save me some of the sticking can I mix Fina and Winny in the syringe before shooting or is that a bad idea? To they have any effects on each other? Help from all you chemists is appreciated.     | ||

If the winny is water based and the Fina is oil based, You CANNOT mix them. If they are both oil it is fine. Mad ------------------ | ||

Like the madhatter said if the winny is oil based the answer is yes if it is suspension no. | ||

i disagree with both of you. you can defiantely shoot oil and water in the same pin. i've done winny and eq and it worked well for me. no problems at all | ||

yes you can do them both in the same pin,its not a matter of oil or watter its because they dont interact chimicly to one another. ------------------ | ||

I am not saying it can't be done but the water is going to go through the pin much faster than the oil.I have done it both ways and prefer to keep oil with oil and water with water.Also if it is suspension it has time to clog the pin because you are taking longer to draw and inject.Not trying to argue, just my $.02 | ||

I have done it and wouldnt reccommend it!! It made the injection site sore for longer!! ------------------ |
