Anyone here work out at any of the Ballys in Houston. Looking for a new workout partner need someone who is dedicated to blowing the F**K up. I have just fired my last workout partner he has lost his desire and I have gotten tired of babysitting. Anyone else ever had that problem? ![]() ![]() ![]()

I have had huge trouble trying to find someone else as dedicated as myself to train with. All the trainging partners I have had are always late or they don't show up sometimes or there ankle hurts so they can't do squats for the next month .....it goes on and on.

Ive always been one to not rely on other people, but rather to do shit on my own. I have had partners before & you tend to get used to having them around to the point where if they dont show up, your lost without them! If I need a spot on something, I ask, & sometimes I might lift with someone who is doing the same muscle group as me that day, just for a change of pace, but I cant stand showing up at the gym only to have to wait for a partner who is late, or doesn't show at all! I also do a workout that is ALOT different from most people who lift(at least in my area)& there is no way, unless they decided to change their regimine for mine, that Im changing my workout for some dumbass who still believes that each muscle group has to be worked twice per week! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

When I get a new partner, I make them do the same workout as me. I usually get too hardcore and they stop lifting or just do it half-assed. They usually just stand around and watch me do deads or squats, while their excuse is that their back or knee or whatever the fuck is acting up again. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Personally I like lifting alone and just asking various people for a spot. When I had partners I felt that they were holding me back. Either they wouldnt be hardcore enough, got lazy, didnt show up or were late, or just wanted to talk and fuck around. When Im in the gym Im there to lift and only to lift. I enter a zone and dont want to be bothered and i feel a partner is somewhat of a hassle. I personally like lifting alone but good luck to you bro on finding a GOOD RELIABLE partner! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Same problem here. My friends prefer to party rather than work out, and when I convince one of them they get into it for 3-6 months and then total collapse in dedication. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Always found working out alone is preferable. Don't really need a spotter since my gym has semi-free-weights with rotating catchs on them. Maybe you could find some better equipment that would allow you to work out when your alone. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I prefer to lift by myself. I got tired of waiting around for my lifting partner to get to the gym. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
