How long should a guy quit drinking prior to a cycle as well as for how long and how strict to you have to be?

Generally, the less you drink during your cycle, the better.

Alcohol slows digestion and also contains 7 calories pergram, almost as much as fat. Additionaly, there is added taxing of the liver.

Not sure if there is really a general rule about when to quit before a cycle, but if drinking is something you do frequently....well then how dedicated to your body are you?

I would say quit a week before starting....if you need a number.

I enjoy drinking, not to extremes, but I was (and still am) planning on quiting completely b4 and during the cycle.

A beer every now and then is not bad, in fact it's good for you. But if you are one of those guys who can't just sit down and drink one beer without ending up going through a six pack then stop drinking all together. I drink, but I'm a light weight! Usually when I'm on a cycle I won't drink at all, but prior to the cycle I don't think about it that much, since I really don't drink too much at all anyway. But if you are a heavy drinker I'd say stop drinking and start taking milk thistle at the very least 2 weeks prior to the cycle.

Take GHB or GBL/butanediol. They are very similar in euphoric effects plus they have great sleeping attributes. Not to mention it is non toxic to the human body.

Its probably to just go clean for the cycle.
If you are commited enough to training that you are doing an AS cycle you should be commited enough to not drink and have a clean diet as well.

I am planning to start my next cycle Jan. 8 because I plan to party on new years eve. Gives me a week to eliminate all other substances before I start. No booze on cycle for me.

Alcohol dehydrates and robs muscle.....plain and simple. As was said, occasional use while off cycle is okay I guess, personally I don't really like it. Doobie anyday.

i drink a couple drinks every weekend, but im also bulking so the extra calories won't kill me.. and its not like i do it all the time. But tonight is new years..... so.. i'll probably have a six pack and stop there. As long as its something you don't do all the time, i don't see a problem with it.
