This is just for some of the bros that haven't heard. Hey bros, I started my own personal training company, Created Perfections, and I was looking for a good protein source to sell to my clients. I bought a 50lb sack of whey protein ISOLATE from Kilo Sports. When I got the bag, there was a phone number to the labratory that makes isolates. I called the number. I found out that I can buy the protein directly from the lab! I can get it at only $3 bucks a pound but I have to buy 300 lbs at a time. I've been talking to some bros and we've put together a plan. I'm going to invest in a crap load of protein. And I'm going to sell it for $6 per lb. That will keep me from loosing money in case I only sell half of it. This is the perfect opportunity to be able to help out some bros find purest quality protein and to save them some serious cash. I'm not in this for the money. If enough people respond to this,I'll be able to lower the price even more when I'm sure that I'll sell all that I order. Right now, I'm offering FREE samples of it so that you'll see how it tastes and I'm sending out a CA (Certificate of Analysis) from the lab to demonstrate its purity. I'll even pay the shipping cost. All that I ask in return is that you help me to promote this. The protein is made from white cheese making it cost a lot more than whey made from cheedar (most common because companies make huge profits off cheedar whey which is nearly free). Because it's made from white cheese, it has taste like no other you've ever tried. It's unflavored, and unadultarated 100% pure cross flow microfiltration whey protein isolate that has a digestability of 98%. Although it's unflavored, since its made from white cheese it has a slight sweet buttery aroma but assumes the flavor of anything (i.e. choclate, vanila flavoring, pina colada mix, strawberries, etc.). I'll have to wait till Monday to see how much the international shipping fee is for each country outside of the US. I will probably ship out the free samples anyway. If you order on-line, you can find many varieties of whey protein (the most complete protein source) for $5/lb. I don't see how $6 per lb AND going through a non-liscensed vendor is a good deal. | ||

WPI is alot better than whey concentrate. just read the info on protein factory about the 2. basically concentrate is like isolate, but you get lots of shit with it. think fat beef compared to a 4% fat cut of lean beef. the cheapest i've seen WPI is at protein factory for nearly $9 per pound. | ||

It's easy to be fooled by companies like Optimum Nutrition. They do not offer a 100% whey protein like the label says; that is meant to mislead people who don't know much about protein. What they mean by "100%" is that all the protein that is in there originates from whey, not eggs, beef, milk, etc. They take a high quality protein such as the one I'm "selling" and mix in cheap fillers that degrade the quality and pull one over on unsuspecting customers. Look at their figures: One scoop of 29.4g, which contains 22 grams of protein. If you do the math, you'll find that equals <75% protein! The other 1/4 of this is garbage that is put in there to take up room, screw you out of your money, and hinder your gains. But hey, look how cheap it is! At >75% protein, you are left with about 3.5 pounds of denatured, undigestable protein in that 5lb container that will cause "bloating, gas, and abdominal cramps" (source: http://www.proteinfactory.com/wheyconrate.htm). Companies have to use artificial sweeteners to sweeten the crap out of this junk just to hide the off flavors of a cheedar cheese by-product. My protein is pure, unadulterated, raw, whey protein isolate derived from cross flow microfiltration of white cheese whey and dried cold to avoid denaturation and is 98% digestable (I have Certificate of Analysis to prove it). Do you want to pay over $7 a pound for the inactive protein thats in O.N.'s 100% protein, throw away your money and your potential muscular gains and injest the rest of that garbage that makes up the rest of the 5lbs? Or do you want to invest in a quality product like Created Perfection's protein and get way more than you are paying for. Afterall, Optimum Nutrition is "cheaper," right?? And by the way, numbnuts, I'm not selling anything right now. I'm offering FREE samples. I'm not scheduled to begin sales till mid-late January AFTER I RECEIVE MY VENDOR'S LISCENSE.

If it is Wehy Isolate, then I'll vouch for the great price on it, because there is a large difference between concentrate and isolate. The average % of protein in concentrate is about 77 to 80% protein whereas in isolate there's about 92% protein. It'll make a big difference in the long run. Go ahead and check around for protein ISOLATE, there's no where that'll sell it for $5 a pound, even with discounts and coupons. I didn't intend to make a big deal about this thread. But I understand protein metabolism and amino acid composition. There is a piece of paper on my wall that certifies that. And I can tell you that protein marketing is one of the things that disgusts me the most. SO WHAT if whey protein is not 100% whey isolate? It means maybe a 3-5g difference in the amount you would need for a 100g equivalence. Exmple: If you compared proteins, 120g or less of protein from milk (a non-complete protein) would be needed to be equivalent to 100 g of whey isolate to get the same amino acid profile. Once it is broken down into its individual amino acids, protein is protein. So whether or not you have a quality product is irrelevant. What is relevant here is the fact that you are spending alot to get very little additional benefit in return. But you can spend all that extra money however you want if it will make you feel better. I'm have just had it up to here with all of the mis-leading marketing that goes on in the supplement industry and has effectively brainwashed 99% of you. Save all that money that you give to MuscleTech, Next Nutrition (Designer), etc and use it toward a quality cycle. | ||

Thats my point exactly. If you'll read my last post you'll see the difference that protein percentages can make. But to save you some time: If you pay $25 for 5lbs of Optimum Nutrition's 100% Whey Protein that yeilds 75% protein, you are wasting 25% of your money on gargabe. You are actually only getting 3.5lbs (1/4 of the 5lbs) of the protein you bought the product for, but it is undigestable, causes gastrointestinal discomfort, and has an extremely low bioavailablility. $25 dollars divided by 3.5 lbs is over $7 dollars per lb. You are paying $7 per lb for 20% unusable protein and eating all the garbage (fat, sugar, impurities, etc.) that comes with it. Sorry for getting pissed off about your comments (as evident in my previous post). It just makes me mad that I'm trying help out some bros by saving them cash and giving them access to this quality product. Hey Stew Meat, I know the protein you are talking about. I orded 88lbs of the unflavoured isolate from Kilosports as well. The manufacturer of their protien is Armor protein. They are located in France I believe. Anyway, you say it costs three dollars a pound if you buy 300lbs so the minimum cost would be $900. It would make more sense for people to buy it themselves rather than let you make a profit. If 300lbs cost too much than people can easily get others that are interested in the protien to split the cost. If five people decided to buy the protein than each person would only have to pay $180 and would get 60lbs of protein each. Hey, how about you bash every other supplement company that is selling it for a lot more than what I'm selling it for. Don't try to make me out to be wrong for putting this together. I'm saying $6 per lb because I don't want to sell half of what I order and loose half of my money. Can you understand that? If you don't want any, don't buy any. If you don't like my price, get you a vendor's liscence and sell it cheaper. Otherwise, quit bashing me for providing WPI to bros for a lot less than what they are currently paying. I haven't gotten the containers in yet. I'm still working on it. That's just another reason that I'm waiting till later this month before I begin sales. So far, I've contacted one company and they wanted $5 for a 4lb container. I still have some numbers to try. I may wind up packaging it like The Protein Factory. It would save me a lot of money... I'm still lookin' though. I'm planning on going with 4lb, 6lb, 10lb, and 25lb containers. If I go with plastic lined boxes or ship bags in boxes, I'll just go with whatever people want. What do you guys think? I don't know why I wouldn't be able to ship that much to Peru... I'm going to check out shipping prices by FedX, UPS, and USPS tommorrow when they open... You should have emailed me and told me that you wanted a free sample. I answered all emails. That is all but one. There was one guy that emailed me and said "Send it." I'm putting a lot of money into shipping out these free samples especially considering I am paying the shipping. I didn't think that he was at all interested in helping me out and figured he was probably just wanting some free protein. So in the words of the Soup Nazi (Seinfield), "No soup for you!"
