What's a typical day of eating for you guys on a bulk cycle? Is it the old staples-red meat,whole chicken,eggs,milk,and peanut butter. I know I'll probably need 6,000+ when I do get on. So,what do you eat?-THE PROTOTYPE

Meal 1
1 carton egg whites
1 cup oats
2 shredded wheat biscuits
1 scoop whey(water)
1 tbsn flax
cal:810 pro:46 carb:96.5 fat:22.5

Meal 2
6 oz. tuna
1 cup cotage cheese
4 slices whole grain bread
1 large banana
cal:730 pro:46 carb:100 fat:6.25

Meal 3(post workout)
2 scoops whey(water)
2 20 oz. gatorades
1 large green apple
cal:570 pro:44 carb:100 fat:3

Meal 4
1 carton egg whites
1 cup oats
2 shredded wheat biscuits
1 scoop whey(water)
1 tbsn flax
cal:810 pro:46 carb:96.5 fat:22.5

Meal 5
2 cartons egg whits
1.5 cups oats
cal:690 pro:48 carb:89 fat:9

Meal 6
6 oz. tuna
1 cup cottage cheese
1 tbsn flax
4 salt free rice cakes
cal:500 pro:46 carb:32 fat:16.25

Daily totals
cal:4110 pro:276 carb:514 fat:79.5


I buy the egg beater egg whites for convenience. I use the tuna packed in spring water and low fat cottage cheese. Optimum nutritions 100% whey. My bread of choice is peperidge farms whole wheat/whole grain. It's not a ton of calories and I am about to add more but I do grow well off it.

beezer...just curious..but where's the beef???
Seriously, you don't eat any chicken or beef at all? Must get really boring eating all that tuna.

I can't eat chicken any more. I gag at the simple though of the foul fowl. It now disgusts me. Beef is inconvenient for me so I just opt for the quick and easy eggs...which in my opinion are a better protein source. I don't eat for flavor. I eat for my body, so it really does'nt get boring. Eggs are incredible protein and they do the trick so I stick with them. I found meats(other than fish) were just too heavy and slow digesting during a bulking cycle. I don't feel nearly as stuffed or bloated with the lighter options.
