been with her over 3 years and always hid it, because of fear of losing her.she is a worrier and does not like me to go tanning for the fact that i can get cancer.i had to tell before we got married.i was always able to hide it by staying at a moderate weight.now i want to get my size back up to what it was.i was 210 at a 5-6 frame at 10 percent bodyfat and for the past 3 years i let myself stay bet 170-185.at first she almost left me and started to call me a roid head and that she could no longer be with me.after i cried like a baby, she felt bad and decided to stick around.its now three days later and she has not brought it up again.im so excited that i can grow again without the worry of being caught.just a story i though id share.TIME TO GROW!!!!!     | ||

That's one I can relate to. My girl was cool with the gear when I first started until I flipped out one day and gave her a little scare. That was when I was new to the game. The summer of 99 I was home from college and she found some sust I was hiding from her. She was so pissed she told my parents. I had to put some veg. oil in some needles and act like I was squirting the juice down the drain to satisfy my mom or she was gonna kick my ass out. My girl and I split up in the summer of 2000 for 5 months and when she came crawling back I was obviously juicin'. Since then I have been totally honest with her. It beats having to change computer screens every time she looks over my shoulder and lying. I'm a baseball player. I told her to accept me for who I am and as long as I play ball I'm going to juice. The honesty has made us closer. I've been trying to get her to try clen. but like your girl she wont even trust chromium picolinate or ripped fuel. Is your girl Italian? Mine is, her mom is the same way, a family of fuckin hypocondriacs. I can't even take her on the boat with out hearing about sea sickness and shark attacks.......WOMEN

Ah yes, the recurrent dilemma. My fiance has found everything from syringes to amps; and it has led me to better storage techniques. However, we still do not discuss it, even after 5 years. She used to bitch about me and the boards, but after she was assaulted and saw all the support that was offered to us by the mods and bros on the board, she doesn't seem to care anymore. I think she kind of liked the thought of me and a bunch of big mofos beating the shit out of the fucks that got a hold of her. | ||

It sucks, my girl knows I have some gear, and knows Ihave done it in the past but she is against me doing it in the future. She thinks I am going to sell my stuff to a friend, I want to hit it again soon but she would flip out, might have to sneak. ------------------ | ||

i dont understand many guys. with crying and convincing ur women to accept steroids. listen the best thing to do is make her feel guilty and turn it around on her. tell her that ur doing roids. and if she says she hates it, then say somthig like "well steroids are a part of my life, and by hating them u also hate me. and i cant be with a person that hates me." and watch how fast she will back peddle and say shes sorry. lol being manipulative is good. just be smart about it. | ||

I don't know bro if she threatened to leave because of the juice, and she hasn't said anything about it, id say watch yourself, I wouldn't be saying anything else about it,she knows your going to do itso if I were you id let lying dogs sleep. I am married. I just came out and told her.She said you better not. So I asked her what if I do,what will you do . She said she would get mad at me.Get mad baby. Anyway she knows. I have been doing it on and off for about 10 years. Been married for almost 4 years but been with her for almost 10 and she and I train together, she knows I mess around with it and knows that I dont do alot. She loves me no matter what I do and vise-versa so if it is always going to be part of your life, explain it to her and dont just swipe it under the rug. Their is nothing worse then midway through your cycle and you feel like you can take on the world that she wants to discuss you not taken it. If you are with someone that you feel will lead to long term, then come clean and educate her. If its someone that may not be their for the long haul, then keep it to yourself! | ||

Well, I didn't tell my wife, and she found out by scrolling down in the URL window while I was out of town. She then was logged on under my name and found out everything that i have ever said on these boards. When I returned, she and my best friend were sitting in my living room with that after school special "we know you have a problem" look on their faces. They had pitched all my shit and thought I was going to rage on them like some animal. After a horrible day of crying and forgiveness I agreed to never do it again. My wife is more important to me than anything, but I agreed to something i really didn't want to. However, since then (Nov. 1st), I have let her know that I might do it again. She seems to be more understanding now, and more open to discussion. The part she hated most was the lies and the fact that I could be hurting myself. I agreed that she will know about everything I do and could veto anything. We are both scientists so I can't just make anything up. I want to do it again, but life is a compromise. I'll let everyone know the if and when's. P.S. I was amazed at how she and my best freind bought into the media "roid rage" persona and thought that i would freak out or hurt them. It sucks. | ||

These are very complicated issues. Not so much about the gear but about the guilt and honesty. Let me share with you something a good friend once told me about the guilt of something you do that your spouse doesn't know about. Whether its juicing or any other infringement of trust. If you truly care about your spouse, after you do something that batrays her trust you will must definitely begin to fell this heavy burden on you. You will feel like crap and it will seem like you think about it everyday. But let me tell you from experience friend, in must cases, the only thing a confession will do is lift that overwhelming burden of guilt and pain off you and dump something just as equally heavy on your spouse. You will feel like crap for the moment then you will feel great because you got it off your chest. But now think about your spouse. She will always know that you betrayed her and don't for one moment every think that she will forget, nor should she ever forget. Trust me it will rear its ugly head again sometime somewhere. Her future decisions will always have to take into account that you betrayed her. Some peeople are lucky and there better half excepts the juice but I'm sure there are things that they would not except and this extends to that. The moral of the story is if you are the cause of the pain don't put it on your spouse, harbor it yourself. If you can't handle holding on to all this guilt than you ought to reconsider what your doing. Never confess,but don't get caught. The other thing this wise man once told me is "If you swallow a steam ship and the pipes are hanging out of your mouth, DENY IT!" Just my $.02 | ||

Reading this thread makes me feel fortunate. I simply told my wife I was going to do gear and she was fine with it. She has no desire to give me shots, but she trusts my judgement on what is or is not safe. My advice for those with less understanding S.O.'s is information. 99% of people have been convinced by the media that steroids in any form are instant death or rage-inducing or somethign similar. Sit down and explain things. If she/he is still bent out of shape, it may be time to think about whether this person is really the one with whom you want to spend your time. | ||

When I met my girlfriend she was hell-bent on a couple of things. She is 5ft9 and never wanted to date anybody shorter than her....I'm 5ft4. No facial hair...I have a goatee. No earring...I have both pierced and above all NO BODYBUILDERS!. I cured her of all of that stuff. She was hell-bent against steroids as well, but she trusts my judgement. I have never done a cycle, but obviously if I am on this board than I am interested in doing them one day. I told her that and asked her if she would leave me for doing it. With great relief she told me no, but she said I better never have a attitude with her and I go to my doctor to get checked up periodically. Man I have a cool chic. | ||

You luck bastards. I have'nt had the guts to tell my wife, although I bet she know's. Two months ago I was posted to South Lebanon with the U.N. and started big time juicing. When I sent home some pix on an e.mail I did'nt have to say another word about steroids. It was so obvious, I'm returning to Ireland on leave in Febuary and I'll probably get it in the neck from her then. She asked me on the telephone why I was taking steroids and I told her it was because she could'nt stop me now, hehehe, I'm 4000 miles away from home. I don't think she got the joke, however she doesn't mention it again. I told her my ass was killing me from the sust injections and she told me to "F*ck off", she was'nt happy !!. But it's like this here, the gear is otc and VERY cheap, so it's a gear party for me for the next few months, Yippeeeeeee. Regards Boouncer ------------------ | ||

im still around and everything seems ok.she sees me writing to you guys and hasnt complained.its snowing really hard right now and she shoveled for me.a couple of more weeks till i get off these crutches.still been training, but lost 15 pounds.in case you dont know i had knee surgery and i am out of work for 4 weeks already.i cant wait to get back to normal.i have a shitload of gear thats waiting to be used,and more on the way | ||

There are at least two things that I always inform a "potential" soulmate of......one is AS use, and the other is my sexual preferences.....and if she's not willing to comply with either of those.....see ya later. All you have to do is sit down and explein it to your girl. She is just another normal person who thinks steroids will turn you into a raging lunatic and kill you at 30. If you are reading this board, you are obviously educating yourself about juice and not just taking what some fucking meathead at the gym gave you. Educate your girl and show her that you are being responsible. She is only worried about you. I would rather have my girl be worried and want me to stop than to just not even give a fuck. DC | ||

This topic has come up in my marriage. it was hidden for a long time. There was some idea "it" was going on. When my wife finally admitted that she was using gear, I learned to accept it... Just kidding, cuz. A bit of advice though, when the shoe is on the other foot remember how understanding she was with you. Remember how she supported you. ------------------ |
