Personally, I like to keep my AS use total private. I don't reveal it to ANYONE....so in order to keep annonymity, I use mail order....like cuban said, there are some very reliable mail order sources out there. Nobody should be getting scammed. The name of the thread is "if you don't want to get scammed..." so obviously if you don't want to get scammed, don't do mailorder. I know and everybody else knows that mailorder with a legit domestic source is much more convenient than having to go to another country to buy your gear, but this thread is about avoiding being scammed and not which is more convenient. Besides avoiding mailorder altogether, the next easiest way to avoid being scammed is to find a legit domestic source who will front to you. | ||

DB, are your saying that doing business face to face is the best way not to get scammed? Well, I not sure price matters to you, but the last time I looked around town, shit was at least twice the price. And I'll bet you have a high risk of getting fake gear to boot. But hey, what ever floats your boat. You do what you want to do - that's the beauty of it all. I AGREE WITH BOTH DAMIAN AND THE MODS. I GET MY SHIT FROM A DOMESTIC DEALER WHO ALSO HAPPENS TO BE A GOOD FRIEND OF MINE. IF SOMEBODY HAD GEAR OUT OF THE COUNTRY AND I NEW THEY WERE RELIABLE AND CHEAPER THEN WHAT I PAY THEN I WOULD HAVE TO GO WITH THEM. | ||

I personally have been helped by a mod and I commend him for what he's done, and he didn't have too...he chose too putting his ass on the line. I'm sure most if not all mods are like the one I had the pleasure of talking too. If you are living anywhere in the states then the mail-order should be your last resort. Go to any gym and someone can hook you up or fuck it talk to a high school kid and he will most likely have some kind of source. The way I see it is I never have to do mail order myself when you can get someone to do it for me if necc. |
