Should I increase my caloric intake, or cut back on the AM cardio if I feel like I'm losing muscle along with the fat? delts ------------------

Have a body fat test done now aqnd another in two weeks.. AM Cardio should only burn fat, because your stomach is empty.

Ok let me start off by saying that it is impossible to burn 100% pure fat , some muscle will go on any cardio and restricted cal diet. So cardio in the morning will not just burn fat ,I would up the protein intake a little and take some glutamine before altering anything else. And once again even the best diets will take some muscle. Luca

Are you using any supplements or any medical aids? I take it you are trying to reduce bodyfat levels. Try clen, up protein intake and as the bro above mentioned it is impossible to lose all fat without any muscle being lost. If not impossible at least very difficult. Ask the pro's & there shooting 3000mgs/wk on average of test stacked with everything else they use. Yes that is when preparing for contest. ------------------

Need to know whether you are geared up right now or not. If you are using anabolic aids, then I would not worry as much. I do suggest that you linit the intensity of the cardio if your performance is decreasing. Everytime I have monitored my BF% during dieting and felt I was losing high %'s of muscle, it was in conjunction with performance loss. So, if your performance (strength) is consistant and/or increasing....your fine, just paranoid.

Thanks for the replies fellas......Luca, good to hear from you bro and I agree....AM cardio is the best way, but "some" muscle will be compromised. I currently have my protein grams at 350 (my weight is 195), and I'm taking 20g of Glutamine daily. I'm down six pounds in eight days and of course most is water, but I figured I'd shoot for 1-2lbs weight loss per week from here on out. Pumpin' Iron......I was planning on using clen, but the deal hasn't worked out thus far....lol. (another story) So I'm all natural right now, probably a little paranoid about losing the precious muscle I've obtained from my two previous AS cycles. But I do feel like the glutamine is helping a great deal to limit muscle loss. delts ------------------ |
