I was at Barnes and Noble in Austin (visiting family) and I was browsing the bodybuilding seciton. I shit on myself when i found this book, and thank god I did because I was going to die from boredom visiting the relatives.

However the book gives very good up to date pictures, and descriptions of just about every drug a bodybuilder would use. It list the names of each drug in every other country, the manufaturer of that drug, exactly what countries they are located in and whether or not they are currently being produced. Also has the common counterfiets and pics listed after the descripions.

Good info on side effects, the reason anabolics work in our systems and a few sample cycles.

It would definetly answer 80% of all newbies questions and quiet afew of the experienced questions. The only thing it doesn't talk about in greater depth is injection techniques or sample cycles.

I have it and the 96 w.a.r. They are both good as reference and for newbies learning the basics, but there are some mistakes in both books and it shouldn't be taken as gospel. But I like it as a reference.

The pics are OK, the pics are fuzzy. I think a color copy would be much better.

Dude this book SUCKS. Its pictures are all fuzzy, its cycles are ones everyone already knows. And the author is a bum. I hate his book and he would not give me a refund. SO after having the book for a week, I sold it to a guy at the guy for 10 bucks. That is what I think of his piece of crap book. The little good info in the book can be obtained from any AS web site, SAVE YOUR MONEY, THIS BOOK IS NOT WORTH 40, HELL ITS NOT EVEN WORTH 2 BUCKS. I was happy to find a sucker who would pay 10 bucks for mine.

You obviously haven't been around long enough to know how annoying it is to hear yet another newbie ask the *CLASSICS* such as "what's the difference between clomid and nolvadex." (for the 1000th time!!!!) or "what is better primo or sustanon."

As a matter of fact your might just be an annoying newbie yourself. And oh yeah, the book although it has a few mistakes in it (and black and white fuzzy picture) is still a good tool for newbies to learn with.

Ya and you sound like all the guys who have no jobs and just stay online all day and post. I dont think the # of post mean you know more than one who has fewer post. I just dont post that often for this reason. You see I posted and you bash me. Oh, well I dont want to argue, but GRAMER you have to admit this anabolic 2000 book BLOWS. Why do I say this, mainly because like I said the little good info the will help newbies can be obtained on any website. That is my take.

Oh I just to let all know I can't wait to do my summer cycle (5 months and counting) a bottle of aratest every two weeks along with 10 dball a day, PLUS slin twice a day twice a week. God I love to be BLOATED!!!!!

I like the book. I like knowing who makes what and in what size and strength. I don't have time to get online and sort through all the bullshit post everytime I want to check something. Who cares if the cycles are not good, the author never said it was a cycle book.

Good luck.

Gina,
Not everyone that trains has a computer. Everyone doesn't takes the time to go to the website to look the stuff up - they come directly to the board and post it. It doesnt' bother me what they do, I thought the book could help some people get that don't know as much as you do.

I like looking at the photo's and reading who makes what. I don't think anyone would buy the book for cycles or what the sides are. If you noticed, the book is titled "Anabolics 2000 Reference Guide"

For Reference, like those times you want to look up who makes what, if it is still made by that company in that Country, and for those products you don't come by every day.

Good luck on your cycle, 1250mgs of test/week and 50mg of dbol/day PLUS insulin, jesus christ!

BigQuadz, Don't waste your time with people like him. Worthless to the board and a waste of air.

I think the book is "OK" for newbies It is certainly better than not reading anything about AAS. But Not so good on the facts on to which it preaches. Some info skipped which is important and other worthless but In all A good book to learn from.

Oh, OK FAT JAY. I have saved this board with my truthful posts and knowledgable statements. I think the book is CRAP that is that. If you guys like it fine, but if I were a newbie I would not want it. That is all I have to say about the book.

Hey everyone if you stare at big jay you will see him get FATTER by the second.
HHAHAHHAHA.

Conan,
How am I being disrespect full. Jay insulted me first, so what I am suppose to just take it. I am sorry but I am sick of people bashing me for just being honest. If you dont like my honestly then just ignore, but do say I am disrespecting people. CAKEHOLE?? Ok.

Also I am not saying I know all, but I know I know more than some. SO all these people including you conan who insult me and question my knowledge, I just dont understand. I mean I know I am quite an asset to anyone who has questions about AS. Later

Gina,
If you would have expressed your opinion without going nuts and in a more professional manner I think that you wouldn't have got bashed. Now if some guy in the gym was standing around talking about how he liked the book would you go up to him and scream out all the stuff you said in your first post, probably not. No big deal though
