Your experience of having children after using roids(men or women)

Any of you have had any problems?,have your children born ok? I am afraid of not been able to have kids after all I have done,do any of you feel the same?Please respond . I will probably wait about six months after a cycle before trying to get my ladie pregnant just to be safe. I wilkl apreciate if any of the ladies respond too.

Both of mine -- one boy, one girl -- conceived while I had extra hormone running around. Both are just fine. I wouldn't knowingly try if I was on though.

My son who is now 9 months old was conceived while in the middle of a cycle. No health problems at all. In fact, he's my biggest, fattest child. He weighs as much as my boy who's almost 2. Not attributing his weight to the AS... but he is very healthy. He died during birth due to the cord being wrapped twice around his neck... and he was stuck... the doc couldn't pull him out... so they were prepping for an emergency c-section when the doc finally got him out... the revived him.

Not that the last part has anything to do with the original question.

A very, very good friend of mine just had his second very healthy baby girl.

He is 30 and used AS for many years, he began when he was a sophomore in HS and took about 4 years off until he started again about a year ago. While on stan, test and deca he spread his seed for the 2nd time.

For Val: Good Luck and I hope your son continues with good health, that's scary. I wanna cry, seriously. My wife and I plan to have another baby next year, conception will theorectically be while I am on.

He's doing very well. His head was sort of a purple color the first week, and was bruised from the pressure of the doctor's fingers on his head while trying so hard to pull him out... but that went away. He's advancing faster than my other 2 children did. Trying to walk already. My older son didn't walk until around 14 months.

And also... relevant to the original posted question... I also wouldn't plan on conceiving while on a cycle. I personally don't see anything wrong with it... but if my sperm count is in fact lowered while on, I'd want to wait to get as many of the little suckers in there as I can. The strongest, fastest one wins... so I want as many competitors as possible, to ensure the winner is a good one.

Besides... what if your body wasn't producing as many... so it only produced the weak, handicapped ones, rather than the strong ones?

I agree however my 2 daughters (age 5 & 2) are also both fine, fit and healthy. I also would not knowingly try if i was on so make sure if you are on the test make sure you have plenty of protection to hand LOL

My wife conceived soon after a cycle. On the ultrasound, it appears that the fetus has great traps and quads, and is hung like a bear.

Seriously, it is not possible for steriod use in a man to affect a child he may conceive. So there is no reason to delay going off birth control.

Your only concern is that use may lower sperm count which may make it difficult to conceive. That may just mean that you have a lot of sex for a long period of time. Oh the humanity!

amazing story Val..i just had a little girl 7 months ago..she was conceived while on a cycle. I worried througout the entire pregnancy that she could have a birth deffect due to steroids..thank god she came out healthy as can be .

Latinlover... I wish I could be of more assistance on the part about a female being on a cycle. I'm not sure if it'd have any more effect than a man being on one. The only thing I'd be nervous about, is what she was taking... and how long she was taking until she found out she was pregnant. Then the time for the AS to taper out of the system. Again... not sure if any damage would be done... I've never personally heard of it causing birth defects... but I'd still be nervous.

Zyglamail.... I know, huh? The thing is, my lady was on 2 forms of birth control when we conceived as well.... so what does that say?

No she is on a cycle but she would not get pregnant yet,when that time comes ,and I hope is planned it won't be till 6 months after a cycle and me 3 months after, then I will compensete my self with a good cycle after she gets pregnant...........CONGATULATIONS TO ALL OF YOU GUYS THAT HAVE CHILDREN IT MUST BE THE MOST WONDERFUL THING IN THE WORLD TO HAVE.
