You on a bulk cycle, how much protein..

...do you eat/drink/consume per day? I mean for a guy at 190, would the difference between 250 and 350grams of protein per day make that big difference, that is if it was taken in devided doses during the day

I'd do 1g per pound, unless you're runnin slin with the cycle also...

more protein may be counter productive IMO, It's important to get in the calories to grow, but if you raise carbs, keep protein at 1g(unless you're doin slin also) and have a regular amount of fat I think that's best for gains.

there has been research showing over consumption of protein can result in up-regulation in the enzymes responsible for protein oxydization (use for energy).

this is a good question and the answer if different if you are training natural or juicing. Obviously we all know that protein synthesis increases on gear. and we all know that gear is expensive. so putting those to things together it is never fun to fuck up a cycle by not eating well enough. so when juicing I would always go on the high side of protein consumption because you don't want to be on the low side and waste your gear and food. I would stick to 1.5 to 2 grams per pound of bodyweight when on, and when off I would drop it down just a bit because all that extra protein might start turning into fat.

Variation: was that study done with people on steroids, if not it probably does not fully apply to us since we are "enhanced".

no, they weren't juicing, but this will be an effect of excess protein.. so my wondering is how much protein can possibly be synthesized, I imagine this varies person to person.

hmm...ok, but why is it whenever I step on gear I start smelling ammonia. NOTE: This doesn't accure when I'm OFF and still eat exactly the same amounts of everything. I would understand it if I had bumped protein when on, but I have not, still the ammonia starts...Does it have anything to do with the massive pump one get in the gym when on and maybe the body much easier startsto burn muscles? Maybe then one would have to drink protein during the session, right...

have you had your kidneys checked lately. you should. because you shouldn't smell like ammonia even though sometimes urine has that slight odor.

1.5 grams per lb cutting and 2 or so grams per lb bulking here.
