True, but I'm not really comfortable carrying fat. I used to be a very chubby teenager...

I've gained A LOT of muscle in the past two months, so the see-food diet has not been a total loss. It does work for gaining muscle. That cannot be argued. Its helped me get a lot stronger too.

At 165lbs I think I just started eating like a 200lber too soon. Nothing happens overnight and maybe I was being too impatient.

Anyway, I'm all for pizza on cheat days/carb up days. I just don't make a daily thing of it when bulking.
 
Based off my experience, a low carb diet is not effective for gaining extra muscle tissue. . .you need the carbs for energy, which will be expelled during heavy training sessions.

I have watched people follow low carbs diets and their gains have been minimal. . . why waste time and potential?

Anyway some of the biggest freaks in the world have used low carb diets to build up their mass. Everyone asks me how I've done what I have in 3 1/2 years. Well for the last two I've been low carbing it almost year round. I haven't come off of low carbs for more than 4 days in a row in 2 years.
 
The DC diet is pretty moderate in carbs (along with no to trace carbs in the evening). I've never had more success with a diet before, and neither has DC and all the monsters he's training.
