nah...women arent allowed into combat "officially" but there arent front lines, so where is combat exactly?
and thats congress' decision, not the military's, it prevents some women from being promoted and prohibits them from SF, so it pisses quite a few of them off

Canada tried the experiment and 98% of wiminz couldn't meet the MINIMUM male physical fitness standard.

2mi run Id avergae right around 75 pts for the male standard

the bf%, faggettaboutit...I always had to be taped

Ive always weighed a lot even when I was tiny

I was thinking about raw numbers...how many PU's and SU's you can do in two minutes as well as your two mile run time.

and i can jog a 2 mile in just under 16 minutes......

On a good day, I can still score 300 points as an old ass based on the 18-23 year old standard. I have never claimed women are inferior or shouldn't serve in service support. Menz are different from wiminz and at the end of the day menz are better soldiers than women just like women are better mothers than men.

I went through BCT at 17 and turned 19 in Saudi Arabia...

Most women don't want to be combat arms but they still want the option. If you can meet or exceed the male standard I'm open to it. However, as a young cadet on the Ranger Challenge Team we had some very good female members of the team but we only fielded males because they, the females, just couldn't compete. I still have scars on my traps from the old ass ALICE packs we would run with for 10k carrying 60 pounds of gear with LBE and wearing boots.

Probably because the vast majority of women can't tab 8miles in under 2 hours over cross country with 85lb on their backs, & that's just basic line infantry standards in temperate UK climate.

Gender equalisation doesn't work because at the end of the day some poor fuck's got to haul 80-100lb+ on their back / belt kit of supplies & hardware including LMG link / boxes, mortar shells / base plate etc, Javelin rounds etc. in the Afghan climate & there's only 8 bodies in an infantry section.
