Parental leave is up in 3 months so I am now looking for work in my new city.

Got my resume all looking sharp in a nice Word format and all these companies off a job site want it in text format.

Text looks like shit and fucks up all formatting. They don't even give you the option of a fax of email so you can send it another way.

My resume looks like shit in Text format and you can't line anything up or use bullets!!!

They may want it that way so everyones resume looks the same so as to not have people who know computers better manipulate theirs to look better.

They probably want to send it thru software that scans for keywords like MCSE, B.S., etc. I hate those. If you don't have every word they're scanning for you go right into the shitter.

Even the major Banks want it in Text format.

I dont have word, I bought a crappy clone computer and the assclowns didnt give me the software and after a format I lost it.

When posted in text on these websites the tabs all disappear along with any other formatting.

Tabs will only stay in rich text format, not the normal text when pasted or printed.
